Abstract: A method for matching subscriber states in a network in which a public land mobile network and a wired/wireless private network and a method for performing a call processing operation to manage state information of ANs (Access Nodes) according to incoming call reception and outgoing call transmission in a private network when a high-speed wireless data system uses the public and private networks. Where data communication is performed between two ANs coupled to the private network, the state information of the two ANs is updated according to states of the ANs performing the data communication. Even though one of the two ANs makes a call setup request through the public network, the number of paging message transmissions can be reduced and an error such as a paging non-response can be prevented.
