Abstract: Virtual conference meeting server performing operations including scheduling a plurality of meetings responsive to input from a meeting organizer. The one of the plurality of meetings is a group meeting having an event time, a listing of permitted participants, and a group meeting identifier. The other one of the plurality of meetings is a subgroup meeting having a start time defined as a time offset to the event time of the group meeting, a subgroup listing of permitted participants, and a subgroup meeting identifier. The operations also include storing group meta data identifying the event time, the listing of permitted participants, and the group meeting identifier for the group meeting with a logical association to subgroup meta data identifying the time offset to the event time of the group meeting, the subgroup listing of permitted participants, and the subgroup meeting identifier for the subgroup meeting.

Abstract: A method is provided which is performed by an online meeting application executed by an electronic device. The method includes, during an ongoing online meeting while the electronic device is operative in a perester mode, sending a first presentation stream to participant devices. The method receives a presentation quality metric from each of the participant device, where the presentation quality metric indicates how the first presentation stream is played out through the participant device. The method then displays an indication of the presentation quality metric on a display device for review by a user of the electronic device. Related electronic devices are disclosed.

Abstract: A Head-Mounted Display (HMD) is provided which comprises a camera configured to capture a video of a real-world scene with a first field-of-view (FoV), a network interface circuit configured to stream video to a receiving display device, and processing means which is operative to generate a 3D model of the real-world scene, and to generate a video from the 3D model using a second FoV which is wider than the first FoV. The processing means is further operative to estimate a motion of the camera, and to stream the generated video to the receiving display device if the estimated motion of the camera satisfies one or more conditions indicative of rapid motion, else stream the captured video to the receiving display device.

Abstract: A method performed by an electronic device for requesting tiles relating to a viewport of an ongoing omnidirectional video stream is provided. The ongoing omnidirectional video stream is provided by a server to be displayed to a user of the electronic device. The electronic device predicts for an impending time period, a future head gaze of the user in relation to a current head gaze of the user, based on: A current head gaze relative to a position of shoulders of the user, a limitation of the head gaze of the user bounded by the shoulders position of the user, and a current eye gaze and eye movements of the user. The electronic device then sends a request to the server. The request requests tiles relating to the viewport for the impending time period, selected based on the predicted future head gaze of the user.

Abstract: A method and a communication device (200) for controlling reception of data when a maximum total amount of received data is stipulated for a time period. An amount of data received during said time period is monitored (2:5) and compared with a predicted distribution of data (200A) that the device (200) is expected to receive without exceeding the maximum total amount. An amount of requested data is then reduced (2:6, 2:7) when detecting that the monitored amount of received data exceeds the predicted distribution of data, so that the maximum total amount of data will not be exceeded before the time period expires.
