  • Patent number: 11785521
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for the intelligent, automated, and dynamic selection of anchor evolved Node Bs (“eNBs”) for Next Generation Node Bs (“gNBs”) in a Non-Standalone (“NSA”) wireless network environment. An eNB may be selected as an anchor eNB based on distance to a particular gNB, and one or more sectors of the anchor eNB may be selected as anchors based on coverage areas associated with the sectors. Sectors of additional eNBs may be identified based on frequent handovers between the identified sectors of the anchor eNB and sectors of the additional eNBs. Selected eNBs and/or sectors may be notified of the designation as an anchor, and may thus provide gNB carrier information to connected User Equipment (“UE”), which may facilitate the connection of such UEs to the gNB.

  • Patent number: 11140518
Abstract: A system may receive geographic data including analytics information relating to a geographic region of a network; receive user equipment data including analytics information relating to one or more user equipment of the network; receive node data including analytics information corresponding to one or more nodes of the network; and associate the user equipment data and the node data with the geographic data; identify a coverage index for the geographic region based on the geographic data and the associated user equipment data. The system may identify a capacity index for the geographic region based on the geographic data and the associated node data; determine a regional score for the geographic region based on the coverage index and the capacity index; generate a recommendation to service the geographic region based on the regional score; and perform an action based on the recommendation.

  • Patent number: 10812988
Abstract: A device may receive site property data relating to a site including information relating to a network device associated with the site and a layout of one or more ports of the network device; receive node data relating to a node associated with the site including information relating to one or more physical connections between the node and the ports of the network device; determine availabilities of the ports of the network device based on the physical connections; map the layout of the ports to an image coordinate system associating the ports with respective image coordinates; generate a visual model of the ports of the network device based on the layout and the respective image coordinates including status identifiers indicative of the availabilities of the ports; and cause an action to be performed based on the visual model and the status identifiers.

  • Patent number: 10264480
Abstract: A computer device may include a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to detect a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) call and identify an available technology type to carry the SIP call from an originating device. The processor may be further configured to execute the instructions to generate an originating available technology type header that includes information identifying the identified available technology type to carry the SIP call from the originating device and forward the SIP call toward a destination with the generated originating available technology type header.

  • Patent number: 9420554
Abstract: A network node receives a registration message, where the registration message is associated with registering a user equipment (UE) with a call signaling network for sending or receiving calls. The network node receives a notification message from a call session control node in the call signaling network, where the notification message indicates whether the UE is currently provisioned to engage in calls via a Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE) network. The network node causes calls to or from the UE to be routed via the VoLTE network if the notification message indicates that the UE is currently provisioned to engage in calls via the VoLTE network, and causes calls to or from the UE to be routed via a legacy network, that is different than the VoLTE network, if the notification message indicates that the UE is currently not provisioned to engage in calls via the VoLTE network.
