  • Patent number: 10454686
Abstract: A core network node identifies a non-USIM based authentication procedure to be utilized by a wireless communication device, WCD, being served by the core network node. The node obtains a session key associated with the identified non-USIM based authentication procedure. The node converts the session key associated with the identified non-USIM based authentication procedure to i) a first key, K1, for use by the WCD and a base station serving the WCD to derive an encryption or integrity protection key, Kenc/int, for enabling encryption or integrity protection of a communication between the WCD and the base station or ii) a second key, K2, for use by the WCD and the core network node to derive the first key K1. The node then send i) K1 to the base station or ii) K2 to another core network node that is configured to derive K1 from K2.

  • Patent number: 10299199
Abstract: A method implemented in a control node includes receiving a message from a first node. The method further includes determining whether the received message corresponds to one or more network partitions based at least in part on the partition selection information. The method further includes selecting, in response to determining that the message corresponds to the one or more network partitions, a particular network partition from the one or more network partitions using the partition selection information, and routing the message to a second node associated with the selected particular network partition.

  • Patent number: 6676162
Abstract: An inflatable belt presenter for use with an occupant restraint belt of a motor vehicle has a stored condition wherein the presenter is deflated and allows the restraint belt to assume a stowed position, and a deployed condition wherein the presenter is inflated and urges the belt to a graspable position in which the occupant can more easily grasp the belt prior to fastening it. The presenter is inflated by a source of gas pressure carried on board the vehicle, such as a compressor, pressure vessel, or a seat-mounted bladder after an occupant has been seated in the seat and is ready to don the restraint belt. Inflation of the presenter preferably occurs upon activation by an electronic control system that receives inputs from one or more vehicle systems, such as a seat weight sensor, a door open/closed sensor, and/or an ignition switch. The inflated presenter is flexible and compliant enough that it will not cause any discomfort to the seat occupant if it should contact the occupant's body.

  • Patent number: 6616028
Abstract: A locking device in a stapler adapted to lock a displaceable member carrying a catch for an object to be stapled in an optional position along a bar. The bar extends through a hole in a locking element. The locking element is connected to the displaceable member and is tiltable along the bar from a pinch position in which the locking element is pinched to the bar to a free position in which the locking element is free from the bar. The locking element is spring-biased towards its pinch position. An operating handle mounted on the displaceable member and operable outside the stapler is displaceable to a limited extent relative to the displaceable member. Exerting a forward force on the handle moves the displaceable member forward.

  • Patent number: 6550805
Abstract: An occupant restraint belt for use with a seat of a motor vehicle has an inflatable section having a deflated condition wherein the belt assumes a stowed position and an inflated condition wherein the belt assumes a deployed position in which the belt is in a position making it easy for a seat occupant to see and grasp the belt in order to fasten it. The inflatable section is formed by sewing a layer of flexible material to the webbing that constitutes the main restraint member of the belt to form at least one gas-tight inflation chamber. The belt is inflated after an occupant is seated in the seat and ready to don the restraint belt. Inflation of the inflatable section preferably occurs upon activation by an electronic control system that receives inputs from one or more vehicle systems, such as a seat weight sensor, a door open/closed sensor, and/or an ignition switch.

Abstract: A hydraulic stretching device for a saw chain active in sawing apparatus having a saw bar and including a holder (1), a driving wheel (3) for the saw chain arranged essentially stationary in relation to the holder and a guiding part (7) permanently arranged at a saw bar to interact with the holder (1). The guiding part (7) is permanently attached to resist turning and axially displaceable in relation to the holder (1) in the longitudinal direction (8) of the saw bar to allow stretching of a saw chain running round the saw bar (6) and the driving wheel (3). The stretching device for a saw chain is arranged to be active between the holder (1) and the guiding device (7) and including a hydraulically influenced piston (10). The piston (10) is arranged in a displaceable manner at the holder in parallel with the longitudinal direction (8) of the saw bar and has an engaging surface (11) intended to engage an opposing surface (12) on the guiding part (7).

The locking device has a locking element connected to the displaceable member and displaceable together with the same, said locking elements having a through hole, through which the bar extends. The hole is designed such that the locking element is tiltable along the bar between a front position, pinch position, in which the locking element portion defining the hole engages the bar and pinches the locking element thereto, and a rear position, free position, in which this hole-defining portion goes clear of the bar. The locking element is spring biased towards its pinch position.
