  • Patent number: 4329041
Abstract: The present invention provides a hand grip which makes it possible to hold a camera by the grip fixed under the camera body or by the grip disposed to the left or right alongside the camera body. A release button which is disposed on the grip and by which the camera shutter is usually triggered, is fully capable of functioning in all possible positions of the grip. It always lies on the front of the grip and can be operated in the customary manner with the index finger. A connecting member is used between the hand grip and the camera. This connecting member may be a supporting plate with attachment bolt for connection to the grip itself. Or by constructing the connecting member as a T-shaped side holder, the hand grip can be optionally located on the left or right side of the camera body.

  • Patent number: 4221477
Abstract: A camera has a housing accommodating a shutter release element, and a detachable handgrip on the housing which is turnable about a pivot axis extending transverse to the optical axis. A trigger element is integrated in the handgrip and a coupling is provided which, on depressing of the trigger element, will operate the shutter release element irrespective of the position which the handgrip assumes relative to the camera housing on being turned about the aforementioned pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 4097883
Abstract: The grip part proper is angularly adjustably connected to a head carrying the camera whereby the grip axis and the axis of rotation are inclined to each other and the latter is inclined to the center axis of the head. The correspondingly oblique interface is additionally used to hold an adjustable ring carrying a camera release switch.

  • Patent number: 3987471
Abstract: The shutter in front of the image aperture is constructed from two pairs of flaps which fold and unfold and are actuated by levers so that flap edges move as leading and trailing edges of a slit across the aperture. The flaps fold temporarily into the space occupied, for example, by a fold-up mirror prior to exposure if the camera is of the single reflex type.

  • Patent number: 3967298
Abstract: A single lens mirror reflex camera arranged for very fast operation. Both the reflex mirror and the auxiliary shutter or protecting flap are moved very quickly from viewing position to picture-taking position, without jar or vibration, by means of separate operating linkages which are in an angular position while the mirror and flap are in viewing position, and which straighten out to straight-line or dead-center positions as the mirror and flap move to picture-taking position, thus bringing them to a smooth stop. A step-by-step electrical switch controls various functions of the camera at various step positions of the switch. One step initiates the running of an electric motor which serves both to wind the film in the camera and to restore the mirror and auxiliary shutter from picture-taking position to viewing position.
