  • Patent number: 9238563
Abstract: Some aspects relate to an apparatus for detecting an edge of a material web. In some examples, the apparatus comprises an ultrasound sensor which comprises two or more separately readable ultrasound receiver elements and an ultrasound transmitter element, wherein the ultrasound transmitter element is designed and arranged such that it applies an ultrasound measurement signal to two or more of the ultrasound receiver elements.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 26, 2013
Date of Patent: January 19, 2016
    Assignee: TEXMAG GMBH VERTRIEBSGESELLSCHAFT

  • Patent number: 6196922
Abstract: The universal joint coupling comprises a housing (20) in which a torque transmitting pair of coupling members is arranged between two axial force transmitting pairs of coupling members (22, 24), each of which includes a spherical cup (22) and a ball segment (24) supported therein. The torque transmitting pair of coupling members (26, 28) has grooves which are arranged in two concentric rows and are defined by gaps in an internal gear ring (26) fitted into the housing (20), or an external toothing (28). They cooperate for torque transmission with counter-acting bodies, the profile of which matches the groove profile. Both the external toothing (28) and the ball segments (24) form part of a hub (16).

  • Patent number: 5460312
Abstract: The travel of a fabric web is corrected by an image acquisition from a region thereof including a guidance criterium which can be interrupted to produce a single row of image points, the signals of which are digitalized and compared with a reference signal by relative shifting of the stored signals in two shift registers. The number of shifts required to bring about correlation is determined as a measure of the actual position of the web and compared to a setpoint position for operation of an effector restoring the web to its set point position.

  • Patent number: 5368893
Abstract: A coating device includes a transfer roller communicating with a bank of coating material and engaging a web of material to be coated, a squeegee bung mounted to resiliently press against a periphery of the transfer roller and to define a contact surface across which the coating material flows, and a counter roller provided with an air blade for final dosing of the coating material applied to the web.

  • Patent number: 4622238
Abstract: A process for the production of bulky, fiber-containing textile sheet material fills a material of loose fibers with a binding agent of an aqueous polymer dispersion containing a foaming adjuvant and puffs it up to a multiple of its original volume by the action of radiofrequency radiation in the range from 30 kHz to 30 GHz. The volume increase is then made permanent by drying. Even cellulosic fibers which formerly matted down when wet can be treated in the stated manner. The puffed textile sheet material is usable as padding for articles of clothing, for sound and heat insulation soft and resilient packing materials, clothing, protective padding and the like, but especially for products which are to absorb liquids to a relatively great extent.
