    Abstract: A stereophonic headphone having a pair of earpieces, each having associated electro-acoustic main transducers and sound chambers. Each of the sound chambers are coupled acoustically to at least one first sound tube serving to transmit a portion of the sound from the other earpiece to the coupled sound chamber. The sound tube acts to delay the transmission of said sound for a period of time which corresponds to the rectilinear propagation of the sound in a standard deflection section of 15 to 25 cm.
