  • Patent number: 5043255
Abstract: A color photographic recording material comprising a support and at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, with which a yellow coupler of the pivaloyl or benzoyl acetanilide type dissolved in a polymeric ester of aromatic or aliphatic dicarboxylic acids is associated, is distinguished by greater color purity and better dark-fading stability.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 29, 1989
Date of Patent: August 27, 1991
    Assignee: Agfa Aktiengesellschaft AG
Inventors: Gunter Junkers, Klaus Wagner, Gerald Karich, Friedhelm Sommer
  • Patent number: 4952487
Abstract: In combination with oil formers of the alkylphenol type, 3-anilinopyrazolones show absorption maxima displaced by about 8 to 12 nm towards longer wavelengths and a blue secondary absorption further displaced towards the UV range and, hence, a reduced yellow secondary density.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 28, 1989
Date of Patent: August 28, 1990
    Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Gunter Renner, Johannes Sobel, Klaus Wagner, Gunter Junkers, Friedhelm Sommer
  • Patent number: 4837043
Abstract: Process for the production of a test devices using extruder casting machines or cascade casting machines is disclosed in which reagent zones are produced on a common surface with remaining portion of test device such that reagent zone is protected by being in the same plane as a portion of the test device. The process permits application of reagent material to matrix areas without interaction of the reagents or the loss of reagents due to extraction during the process of forming the test device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 6, 1987
Date of Patent: June 6, 1989
    Assignee: Miles Inc.
Inventors: Helmut Engelmann, Karlheinz Hildenbrand, Gunter Junkers
  • Patent number: 4361032
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically determining the surface tension by the stalagmometer principle using a pipette containing a test volume, having a drop face at its lower end and is provided with three light barriers. The three light barriers are connected to an evaluation circuit which counts the number of whole drops and also determines the fractions of whole drops pertaining to the test volume.
    Type: Grant
