  • Patent number: 5318457
Abstract: For an electrical plug and socket connection with housing halves that can be locked together, for which a sleeve, which can be shifted in the longitudinal direction of the housing halves, is provided for cancelling the locking, it is proposed that the locking elements be constructed as latches, which grip behind the locking shoulder at the one half of the housing in order to lock the two halves of the housing together. For this purpose, the latches are provided with an inclined surface, which is acted upon by an edge of the sleeve to unlock the connection. When tension is applied to the sleeve in a direction opposite to the plug-in direction, the edge of the sleeve presses the latches out of the locking position.

  • Patent number: 5022866
Abstract: An electrical plug and socket connector with a U-shaped locking hoop has cylindrical rollers provided at the side parts and the overlapping parts of the locking hoop. The rollers are provided with a central slot and an axle and are snapped into the side parts. The attachment of the locking hoop to one plug and socket connector half is such that the locking hoop can be snapped onto the bearing pins of the plug and socket connector half.

  • Patent number: 4634206
Abstract: The invention refers to an apparatus for inserting a flat cable into a housing, which ensures safeguarding the cable or the cable connections on the inside of the housing against tensile stress. The apparatus is to a large extent adapted to the measurements of the flat cable (width/thickness) and also offers sufficient protection in preventing foreign material from entering into the inside of the housing. For this purpose, the housing is provided with a frame-shaped mounting part (1, 102) which has posts (14, 106) arranged on opposite sides. In the bottom area of the mounting part there is provided a cable passage (23, 104) facing towards the inside space of the housing, and in the mounting part there is provided a groove (22, 103) with rim-side shoulders (10, 105) for an insertable, elastic seal (2, 110). The seal is provided with a passage opening (28, 122) corresponding to the shape of the cross-section of the flat cable (9, 109).
