  • Patent number: 11428299
Abstract: A drive cable for actuating a vehicle element movable relative to a vehicle body is provided, the drive cable having a cable body having a cable core around which a coil following a helical line is coiled, the coil serving to engage with a gear wheel, the cable body being provided with a cable sheath. The cable sheath is glued to the coil.

  • Patent number: 10844897
Abstract: The invention relates to a flexible shaft (1) with a spiral coil (3) arranged on a core (2) of the cable (1) and with a catch (4) arranged at one of the cable ends for transmitting a force, for example to sliding roofs or cargo hold covers of motor vehicles. In order to further simplify the production of the flexible shaft (1), the invention proposes providing a bore (5) in the catch (4), with an inner section (7), in particular an internal screw thread, corresponding to the spiral coil (3).

  • Patent number: 10302180
Abstract: A drive cable for actuating a vehicle element which is movable with respect to a vehicle design, which can have a cable body having a flexible cable core which is wrapped with a spiral, which follows a helical line so as to become engaged with a gearwheel. At least three longitudinal ribs or crosspieces can be formed along the periphery of the cable body, said drive cable being able to support itself in a cable guide via said longitudinal ribs which form at least mostly continuous guiding lines and contact lines of the drive cable, each having the same distance all around to the cable axis. Alternatively, an elastically or plastically malleable cable jacket can be provided which engages over the cable core and the spiral and which forms a cylindrical and rib-free peripheral surface of the cable when the cable core is stretched.

  • Patent number: 4901571
Abstract: An acceleration pickup has a housing of a diamagnetic or paramagnetic material enclosing a ferromagnetic ball acting as seismic mass. The ball is held in a starting position on the bottom of the housing by means of a magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. By means of four induction sensitive sensors such as for example Hall effect sensors arranged opposite each other on the circumference of the housing, the momentary value and direction of acceleration component acting on the pickup is determined. The acceleration pickup is simple in construction and cost effective in manufacture and is easily adjustable to different applications.

  • Patent number: 4812979
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the operational state analysis of internal combustion engines with electrical ignition systems wherein, following any deviation from normal engine operation, the cause of the deviation is determined and localized in the engine. Provision is made first to ascertain with good time resolution a numerical value of speed by measuring the time interval between two consecutive ignition pulses of different cylinders and then to determine a second numerical value which includes both the count of the number of ignition pulses and the cylinder designation, both numerical values being stored in digital form over a substantial length of time. The engine speeds for the particular cylinders computed from those two numerical values being graphically displayed in the time sequence of the ignitions as an electronically generated stationary image.
