  • Patent number: 5489189
Abstract: The invention relates to turbo-engine having a variable-pitch propeller. An adjustment spindle is disposed inside the shaft that carries the variable-pitch propeller. The adjustment spindle is connected to a step-down transmission, which is affixed in the area of the face side of the motor that drives the variable-pitch propeller or at a driven generator, and which interacts with an adjustment motor.

    Filed: February 23, 1994
Date of Patent: February 6, 1996
    Assignee: KSB Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Horst Schafer, Gunter Schaaf, Gunter Feldle
  • Patent number: 5470199
Abstract: The invention relates to an adjustment device for variable-pitch propellers or turbo-engines. A drivable rotor is mounted on a hollow flange of a shaft that is connected to the variable-pitch propeller. The rotor is rotatably mounted on the hollow flange, and its inside diameter has a formation which interacts with intermediate wheels and gears mounted in the hollow flange.

Date of Patent: November 28, 1995
    Assignee: KSB Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Horst Schafer, Gunter Schaaf
  • Patent number: 5470204
Abstract: The invention relates to a turbo-engine with a hydraulic device for adjusting the blades of a variable-pitch propeller. A hydraulic pump for hydraulically adjusting the blades of the variable-pitch propeller is disposed within a chamber through which passes the shaft of the turbo-engine. This chamber is filled with an incompressible fluid, for example an oil receiver for lubricating bearings.

  • Patent number: 5466121
Abstract: A hydraulic adjustment device for variable-pitch propellers of turbo-engines comprise a shaft for driving the variable-pitch propeller. A plurality of transmission elements for feeding and draining, as well as for guiding a hydraulic fluid is disposed in the shaft. A rotation passage for the hydraulic fluid is disposed in a chamber, which surrounds the shaft. The chamber is disposed adjacent to the variable-pitch propeller and is in fluid communication with a transport medium. The hydraulic fluid is harmonious to the transport medium.
