  • Publication number: 20070234367
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for testing applications or code. In one exemplary embodiment, there is provided a method for testing an application on one or more different hosts on a processor using a task graph including a parent task and one or more child tasks. The task graph can also contain a single, parent task without child tasks. The method may include, for example, providing the parent task to initiate the task graph at the processor, the parent task including a task number unique to the task graph; providing the one or more child tasks, the child tasks each including a task number unique to the task graph and a command to be performed by the one or more child tasks; and enabling, at the processor, the parent task to initiate execution of the application at the processor. Moreover, the method may include processing user defined input values to define each task.

  • Patent number: 5541252
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of low viscous, water soluble polymer dispersions on an aqueous basis with a high concentration of the active substance, containing a polymerizate A) synthesized from the monomeric components, hydrophobic monomers and optionally amphiphilic monomers, which exhibit an average molecular weight M.sub.w of at least 5.times.10.sup.5 Dalton and contain at least one polymeric dispersing agent D), where in a first step an aqueous dispersion PD) is prepared from the polymerizate A) and at least one polymeric dispersing agent D); in a second step an aqueous, highly concentrated dispersion PD') is prepared from the aqueous dispersion PD) by extracting the water; and in a third step an aqueous dispersion PD") with a high content of the active substance is prepared through the addition of an aqueous dispersion of at least one polymeric dispersing agent D) to the concentrated dispersion PD'), and where the second and third process step can be repeated in succession.

  • Patent number: 5505601
Abstract: A film blowing head for extruding a tubular web of a thermoplastic synthetic melt consists of at least one inner cooling ring and a pipe passing through the blowing head, wherein a central pipe is arranged with the formation of an annular space. The annular space is placed in an air conducting communication with the inner cooling ring. The cooling and supporting air is fed via lines into the annular space and is drawn off again through the central pipe. To permit cooling with very cold air, the pipe feeding the cooling air is surrounded, in the zone of the blowing head, by two concentric pipes with the formation of two annular spaces. The two annular spaces are connected with each other in the zone of the plane of the outlet nozzle gap of the blowing head by an overflow compartment that is closed towards the outside. Warm air is fed to one of the annular spaces, and is drawn off again through the other annular space.

  • Patent number: 5480934
Abstract: An aqueous, low-viscosity, water-soluble polymeric dispersion containing a polymer (A) is prepared by copolymerizing monomers:(a1) 99 to 70 weight % of at least one water-soluble monomer,(a2) 1 to 30 weight % of at least one hydrophobic monomer and,(a3) 0 to 20 weight % of at least one amphiphilic monomer, which monomers constitute 100 weight % of the polymers forming material which polymer (A) has an average molecular weight M.sub.W (mean weight) of at least 5.times.10.sup.5 Dalton, said process comprising:a first step i) of reacting said monomer ingredients in an aqueous dispersion in the presence of at least one polymeric dispersing agent (D) thereby preparing a dispersion of polymer (A); and a second step ii) of adding at least one polymeric dispersion agent (D), in an aqueous solution, to the dispersion.

  • Patent number: 4954807
Abstract: A combination instrument for automotive vehicles, in which different indicating instruments, indicating fields, control and warning lights, and, possibly, operating parts as well as electrical and electronic equipment parts, are arranged in common housing. The combination instrument comprises a computer unit with microcomputers (36) and/or use-specific integrated circuits which are arranged, for protection against electromagnetic disturbances, within a housing (31) which is impervious to high frequencies. Furthermore, disturbance-endangered incomiing and outgoing lines (41, 43, 46) are protected, upon entrance or exit, by suitable filter measures. These include leadthroughs with leadthrough capacitors (45) and the use of ferrite cores (47, 48) through which connecting lines are extended.

  • Patent number: 4455667
Abstract: In the exemplary embodiments a layer is to be scanned which is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the patient support. For example, a radiation source and a radiation receiver may be rotated in an arc about a rotational axis which lies perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the patient support to scan a layer area in such a way that the scanned layer within the exposure subject is traversed exclusively along beam paths each of which is crossed along its entire length in the subject by a multitude of other beam paths.

  • Patent number: 4412412
Abstract: A thread-loading device is used in combination with a false-twist apparatus having at least one frame element having an abutment surface turned away from the yarn-twisting region defined by three sets of axially spaced rotatable twisting disks. The thread-loading device has interengaging formations on the frame adjacent the abutment surface and on the support for releasably securing same together. These formations extend radially of the region. Thus the support can be fitted to the frame by being displaced radially toward the region to interfit the formations. A detent is carried in the support and displaceable between a blocking position engaged with the arm in the outer position thereof for preventing movement of the arm relative to the support and a freeing position permitting such movement.
