Abstract: A supplementary heating system for open motor vehicles, such as convertibles or roadsters, supplies warm air to shoulder and neck areas of vehicle occupants sitting in the vehicle seats. For preventing comfort-reducing draft phenomena when driving slowly and when stopped in front of a traffic light in the open vehicle, each heating module assigned to a vehicle seat has a heat exchanger, an air outlet nozzle arranged downstream of the heat exchanger and having an outflow direction into the shoulder and neck area, as well as an airstream inflow opening with an inflow funnel and a fan air inflow opening which are both arranged upstream of the heat exchanger and are separated from one another.

Abstract: A windshield wiper is provided for a window with a constant radius of curvature. The wiper axis is aligned along a radius with respect to the center of curvature of the window. The wiper arm and the rotatable wiper-bearing part are connected together as a rigid constructional unit. The wiper bearing and/or the wiper arm adjacent the wiper bearing are provided with elastic portions or elements to accommodate movement of the wiper arm in a direction parallel to the wiper axis.

Abstract: An air supply installation for a motor vehicle with an airflow passage connecting the air inlet with an air outlet, in which, viewed in the direction of flow, a water separator and an air filter are disposed behind each other. To obtain good separation of the water along with little noise generation, the water separator is embodied as an essentially vertically extending perforated wall, whose perforation holes respectively penetrate the wall with hole axes which are essentially parallel with each other, into which tubes have been inserted which preferably project from both sides of the wall. The air filter is disposed at only a short distance from the water separator and parallel therewith or inclined under an acute angle.

Abstract: A filter arrangement of a heating or air-conditioning system in a motor vehicle consists of at least two filters which can be flowed through one after the other. Non-confusable filter exchange is achieved with the filters having different external dimensions and their reception locations having reception sizes assigned to the respective external dimensions so that each reception location is only able to receive a predetermined filter.

Abstract: A device for adjusting vehicle seats, in particular, motor vehicle seats having, link mechanisms which, for the adjustable securement of the seat to the vehicle floor on a cushion-receiving frame of the seat, act near to the front and rear end of the seat frame upon its longitudinal sides. A locking unit engages into at least one link mechanism for locking the seat in a desired seat position. For the purpose of adjusting the seat in the longitudinal direction in a straight line or with superimposed adjustment for height and inclination, and for extreme displacement of the seat for the purpose of facilitating passage to the rear seating positions in the case of two-door vehicles, each of the two front and rear link mechanisms exhibits a link pivotably mounted on the seat frame and two mutually intersecting cross-links. The cross-links are attached by their one end to the link at a distance from its bearing point and are pivotably secured by their other end, at a distance apart, on the vehicle floor side.

Abstract: A roof for a motor vehicle, particularly a passenger motor vehicle which possesses an area to be opened intermediate the windshield and a roll-over girder disposed within the area of the rear window; the area to be opened in the roof is subdivided into two sections which are adapted to be displaced telescopically and can be retracted one within the other into the area of the roll-over girder so as to be completely covered by the outer member of the roll-over girder; the roll-over girder together with the outer covering member thereby preferably forms a hollow body.
