  • Patent number: 7032293
Abstract: A process for producing bundles of laminated sheet metal for magnet cores, wherein laminations are punched free along two longitudinal edges of a sheet metal strip, at least two sheet metal laminations of a magnet core are of a different width extending from one longitudinal edge to the other, and several laminations, which rest against each other, are connected with each other to form the bundle. To simplify the tool control, the two longitudinal edges of a lamination are punched in edge cutting stations, which are separate from each other and are arranged offset in the feed direction of the sheet metal strip. The edge cutting stations for cutting the longitudinal edges have a cutting die and an associated bottom die. The cutting die, together with the bottom die, is displaced for creating different laminate widths.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for producing bundles consisting of laminated sheet metal for magnet cores, wherein laminations are punched free along two longitudinal edges of a sheet metal strip, wherein at least two sheet metal laminations of a magnet core are of a different width extending from one longitudinal edge to the other, and wherein several laminations, which rest against each other, are connected with each other to form the bundle. To simplify the tool control it is provided in accordance with the invention that the two longitudinal edges of a lamination are punched in edge cutting stations, which are separate from each other and are arranged offset in the feed direction of the sheet metal strip, that the edge cutting stations for cutting the longitudinal edges have a cutting die and an associated bottom die, and that the cutting die, together with the bottom die, is displaced for creating different laminate widths.

  • Patent number: 6289961
Abstract: An apparatus for longitudinally welding and severing superposed thermoplastic films forming a packaging hose includes first and second feed rollers each having an outer periphery contacting one another for advancing the films passing therebetween; a drive for rotating at least one of the feed rollers; a circular heating disk mounted in the first feed roller coaxially therewith and having an outer diameter greater than the peripheral diameter of the first feed roller; and a circumferential groove provided in the second feed roller in alignment with the heating disk. Peripheral portions of the heating disk project into the circumferential groove of the second feed roller.

  • Patent number: 6161366
Abstract: An apparatus for transversely sealing and severing a thermoplastic wrapper sleeve to obtain individual packages, includes a first welding and severing unit movable back and forth in a first direction and having a first holder; a heated rail and a first clamping mechanism, both supported by the first holder. The first clamping mechanism has first and second clamping components movable toward and away from one another in a second direction oriented transversely to the first direction. A second welding and severing unit is movable back and forth in the first direction and having a second holder; a spring-loaded counter holder mounted on the second holder for cooperating with the rail; and a second clamping mechanism supported by the second holder and having third and fourth clamping components movable toward and away from one another in the second direction.

  • Patent number: 5110281
Abstract: A rubber injection press with a stationary clamping table with a mould element and with a carriage with a further mould element, which carriage is movable in a direction towards the clamping table to close a mould formed by the two mould elements, has a heater associated at least with the stationary mould element and provided in the form of a heating panel, which is arranged between it and the clamping table and in which heating elements are arranged. So as to achieve a good heat transfer from the heating elements to the heating panel with, at the same time, the breakdown frequency being reduced and there being a wide range of design possibilities regarding the arrangement of the heating elements, the latter are cast in the heating panel as heating coils. Thus it is possible also to arrange rapid clamping devices in the heating panel.
