Abstract: An insert part which can be inserted into the ends of the rods of roller blinds or other profiles and is used to join to the chain links of a pull and adjustment chain of the roller blind comprises a plate-shaped part (1) which has a section (7, 14) which is to be inserted into the roller blind rod and a bent section (5) which is opposite the section (7, 14) to be inserted and to which the chain links (21, 22) can be connected.

Abstract: A roller shutter slat has hollow sectional slats (1) with a central part (1c), two edge parts (1a) and transverse grooves (1b) arranged therebetween for receiving bearing or adjusting links (3, 4). The edge parts (1a) and the central parts (1c) are spaced apart and interconnected by linking elements (5, 6, 40, 41) inserted into hollow chambers (26) of the hollow sectional slat (1). The cross-section of the linking elements (5, 6, 40, 41) is narrower than the cross-section of the hollow chambers (26) and the linking elements (5, 6, 40, 41) are linked to the hollow sectional slats (1) by tongue-and-groove joints (9, 10; 42, 43). Easy-to-produce grooves (1b) are thus created without weakening the roller shutter slat (1) in the area of the grooves (1b).

Abstract: A louverable roller blind has lamellar blind slats (14), similar to Venetian blind slats, hingedly linked at their upper areas to pull chain elements (21, 40) and at their lower areas to adjusting chain elements (23, 41). The blind slats (14) are further laterally guided in stationary guide profiles (31). Pins (32) that connect the adjusting chain elements (23, 41) to the blind slats (14) are spaced apart from a plane in which hinge pins (30) of the adjusting chain elements (23, 41) are located. The hinge pins (30, 32) that link the pull chain elements (21, 40) and the adjusting chain elements (23, 41), as well as swivelling pins (16) of the blind slats (14), are mutually aligned when the roller blind is not used as a Venetian blind. This alignment allows the roller blind to be rolled up without problems in a reduced space and to be used as a Venetian blind with no need for special aids.

Abstract: A louverable rolling shutter with a number of louverable, leaf-like shutter slats (1) articulated at their upper zones to pull chain links (2) and at their lower zones to adjusting chain links (5), and also being guided in fixed guide profiles (4) laterally by way of chain links. The guidance action is provided in the guide profiles (4) by the pull chain links (2) which latter are arranged in each case with the associated adjusting chain link (5) and louverable shutter slat (1) in side-by-side relationship and in alignment with respect to one another.

Abstract: A roller shutter has louvers which are pivotal about respective axes between their opening and closing positions by movement of respective chains parallel to the axes of pivot pins upon which the louvers are journaled and which interconnect links of the chain. Screw formations between the pivot pins and the links translate the linear displacement of the links into pivotal movement of the louvers. The adjoining edges of adjacent louvers can hook together.
