  • Patent number: 9452476
Abstract: A fixing apparatus releasably fixes functional elements, particularly a tool holder (1) on a tool disk (3), about one fixing axis (5). These two functional components each have a bearing surface (7, 9) for bearing mutually against one another, and at least one fixing element (11, 13). The fixing element (13) has two fixing bodies (19) connected in a positionally unchangeable manner to the associated functional component on both sides of the fixing axis (5) and at a spacing from one another. Each fixing body (19) forms a fixing surface (25) extending transversely with respect to the fixing axis (5). The fixing surfaces (25) can both be placed from the same side against an associated positioning surface (17) and are situated as fixing elements (11) on the other functional component at a spacing from one another.

  • Patent number: 9358652
Abstract: A tool turret includes a tool disk (2) swivelable about a support column (32) that defines a swivel axis (26) into positions in which at least one machining tool fastened to the tool disk (2) is in a machining position. A drive device (14) includes drives (10, 8) connected by a controllable coupling device (18) to outputs (20, 22) used to drive the tool disk (2) or the machining tool. The drive device (14) is arranged inside the tool disk (2) together with the drives (8, 10) and the output (22) used to drive the machining tool. The output used to drive the tool disk (2) in a swiveling manner has a gear train arrangement (34) outside the tool disk (2) on the support column (32). The gear train arrangement has an output shaft (70) that extends along the support column (32).

Abstract: A fixing apparatus for the releasable fixing of at least one functional component, in particular in the form of a tool holder (1), on a further functional component, in particular in the form of a tool disc (3), about at least one fixing axis (5), wherein the two functional components in each case have a bearing surface (7, 9) for bearing mutually against one another, and both one functional component and the other functional component have at least one fixing element (11, 13), is characterized in that, in order to form the fixing elements (13), one functional component has two fixing bodies (19) which are connected in a positionally unchangeable manner to the associated functional component on both sides of the fixing axis (5) and at a spacing from one another, and in that each fixing body (19) forms a fixing surface (25) which extends transversely with respect to the fixing axis (5), which fixing surfaces (25) which can both be placed from the same side against an associated positioning surface (17), which

  • Publication number: 20130074301
Abstract: The invention relates to a tool turret, comprising a tool disk (2), which can be swiveled about a support column (32) that defines a swivel axis (26) into positions in which at least one machining tool that can be fastened to the tool disk (2) is in a machining position, and comprising a drive device (14), the driving means (8, 10) of which can be connected by means of a controllable coupling device (18) to output means (20, 22), which are used to drive the tool disk (2) or the machining tool. Said tool turret is characterized in that the drive device (14) is arranged inside the tool disk (2) together with the driving means (8, 10) and the output means (22) used to drive the machining tool and in that the output means used to drive the tool disk (2) in a swiveling manner have a gear train arrangement (34) outside the tool disk (2) on the support column (32). The gear train arrangement has an output shaft (70) that extends along the support column (32).

  • Patent number: 5271134
Abstract: A tool turret has a hydraulically slidable interlocking or clamping member in alignment with the rotary axis of the turret head for interlocking or clamping the turret head to the housing and for charging the turret head with an axially reactive force by hydraulic pressure working on the interlocking or clamping member. The axially reactive force counters the axial force exerted by the interlocking or clamping member on the turret head. A hydraulically slidable piston slides relative to the housing and exerts on the turret head in its interlocked or clamped state a force applied in the same direction as the reactive force.

  • Patent number: 4991474
Abstract: A tool turret has a locking mechanism part which can be thrust axially relative to the turret head and a control member which is motor powered. The control member is arranged concentric to the rotary axis of the drive shaft of the turret head. The drive shaft is joined inflexibly with the turret head for driving the turret head and is coupled by a flexible clutch or joining device with the control member. A carrier or drive device couples the locking mechanism part with the turret head for concurrent rotation.

  • Patent number: 4989303
Abstract: A tool turret has a locking mechanism part axially slidable relative to the turret head with a face gear engaging face gears of the turret head and the housing in its locked position. The axial slidability of the locking mechanism part out of its locked position and the curtailibility of an opposing compression spring allows disengagement of the face gear of the locking mechanism part from at least one of the other two face gears. The force of the compression spring during the load on the turret head arising in disturbance-free operation is greater than the force working through this load on the locking mechanism part in the direction of disengagement of its face gear. In case of a collision with a stress exceeding the load capacity of the tool turret, the force of the compression spring is smaller than the collision force working through this load on the locking mechanism part in the direction of a disengagement of its face gear.

  • Patent number: 4468991
Abstract: A tool turret has a housing and a revolving tool head which can be locked relative to the housing by means of gear teeth including annular toothed rings with axially extending teeth which can be interlocked in different rotational positions. A device having a cam drive controls the selective looking and unlocking of the gear teeth, the cam drive being arranged coaxial to the shaft. A Geneva wheel is provided to drive the head unlocked by the gear teeth. The cam drive has an annular groove in which rides a cam follower which is mounted on a axially movable, annular locking element which carries one set of teeth. The set of teeth can be removed axially to concurrently engage rings of teeth on the head and the fixed housing, locking the head.
