Abstract: The invention relates to a plastics closure member, more particularly for closing an opening in motor vehicle bodywork, the closure member having a main member 2, a sealing lip 3 and, disposed opposite the same, a catch ring 4. According to the invention, the closure member is made of a polyester-ester-urethane, the main member 2 merging directly into the sealing lip 3 and the catch ring 4.

Abstract: This invention relates to a sealing plug for tight sealing an opening in a panel, specifically in a motor vehicle chasis, comprising a plastic body 1 made up of a head portion 2 and a heat sealable ring 3 which is joined mechanically and/or by chemical surface adhesion and that the heat sealable ring 3 upon heated to a temperature in the range of from 85.degree. C. to 180.degree. C. causes the sealing ring to be firmly bonded and fixed to the vehicle panel.

Abstract: The method of balancing a changing load of a strip roll orbiting about an axis in a strip winding machine comprises the steps of measuring the changing diameter of the strip roll, converting the measured change into electrical control pulses fed to a reversible variable speed motor moving a counterbalancing weight orbiting about the axis at the other side of the strip roll.
