  • Patent number: 6322754
Abstract: The invention relates to a medical-technical or dental-technical work table (1) which in its forward region of its table surface (2a) has a protection arrangement (11) having a protection plate (11c) in upwardly extending arrangement, which protection plate is held on the work table by means of a holder (12), whereby there is provided a rearward rear-wall-like protection arrangement part (11b) having a rear wall (11d; 52) behind the protection plate (11c) which part is positionable in a disposition on the work table (1) and/or on a carrier arm (14) in which the rearward protection arrangement part (11b) forms with the protection plate (11c) a hood-shaped protection arrangement (11).

  • Patent number: 4509033
Abstract: The primary coil body (10) with its coil, the secondary coil body (11) with its coil and also the high voltage connector body (12) with a connector (13) therein are separate bodies put together by snap connections to provide a pre-assembled unit. A dual connector for the primary coil ends may also be provided as a separate part snap-connected to the primary coil body. The center leg of an E-shaped core part passes through the primary coil body, the latter having a cross extension on which a straight core member fits passing across the ends of the legs of the E part. After perfecting electrical contacts by soldering or welding, this unit is inserted into a single-use mold and is embedded in an insulating casting resin by injection molding. As a result of the snap-type fitting together of the coil bodies and the high voltage connector, as well as the low voltage connector body similarly fastened onto the primary coil body, it is possible to use a one-piece single-use mold for the injection molding operation.

  • Patent number: 4195611
Abstract: An injection-molded cast aluminum base shell, open at the bottom and having individual openings at the top through which respectively protrude a part of the ignition transformer and a part of the transistorized circuit unit, in each case for external connections, consolidates enough of the circuit components to provide an assembly that can be mounted in an accessible portion of the motor compartment of a vehicle on the vehicle body structure to facilitate comprehensive maintenance attention.

  • Patent number: 4080954
Abstract: Solar collector apparatus comprising a panel of series connected all glass solar tubes, each tube having an outer evacuated glass cylindrical jacket with a half circular concave cylindrical reflector on its inner surface, blackened heat absorption glass tubing within the jacket secured by glass connection support means to the jacket in an offset position to lie in the focal plane of the reflector, and circulating fluid storing the energy within the heat absorption tubes.

  • Patent number: 4081331
Abstract: A distillation apparatus having an evaporator for vaporizing liquid to be distilled, a substantially vertically disposed up-and-down flowing condenser in communication with the evaporator for condensing vaporized liquid received from the evaporator, and a heater associated with the evaporator for applying heat to and vaporizing fluid in the evaporator. The condenser feeds liquid into the evaporator so as to maintain a constant level of liquid in the evaporator at the highest normal point of flow of liquid in the condenser. The vapor travels downwardly through the condenser so as to become condensed at the bottom of the condenser where a distilled water output is provided for discharge of the distillate.

  • Patent number: 3946941
Abstract: Centrifuging apparatus is disclosed comprising an outer sleeve with trunnion means carried externally of the sleeve for mounting it on a centrifuge. A Dewar tube fits within this sleeve and receives the sample to be centrifuged. The Dewar tube has inner and outer walls with expanses extending along the sides, and expanses closing off the bottom of the tube, and the space between these walls is evacuated. A radially outwardly flaring lip region is formed at the top of the Dewar tube, and standoffs are provided adjacent the bottom of the tube between the walls thereof, to inhibit breaking under centrifuging conditions.
