  • Publication number: 20130344294
Abstract: A fibrous product includes at least one top ply with an embossing pattern forming pillow-like chambers at least partially surrounded by first embossing protuberances; at least one middle ply embossed in register with the at least one top ply so that second embossing protuberances of the at least one middle ply nest into the pillow-like chambers of the at least one top ply; and at least one bottom ply in register with the at least one top ply and the at least one middle ply being bonded to both the at least one top ply and the at least one middle ply at bonding regions. The at least one bottom ply includes non-embossed areas and embossed areas provided with a micro-embossing pattern, whereby the unembossed areas of the bottom ply are in register with the top ply and the middle ply.

  • Patent number: 7799168
Abstract: Method and apparatus for manufacturing a hygiene paper product includes: providing a continuous paper web, moving the continuous web in the direction of its longitudinal extension, applying a repetitive creative structure relative to the longitudinal extension of the web as a first pattern to the web with a first roll, applying a repetitive functional structure relative to the longitudinal extension of the web as a second pattern to the web with a second roll, while enabling the first pattern to be in register with the second pattern by concurrently controlling the repetitive surface speed of continuous web and the phasing between the first roll and the second roll.

  • Publication number: 20090090717
Abstract: The invention relates to a softpack (1) formed by folding a blank provided with at least one opening and closing mechanism in a first overlapping zone; the opening and closing mechanism comprising a sealing flap (2) and an extension (3); the sealing flap (2) overlapping the extension (3) at least partially in the first overlapping zone; the sealing flap (2) and the extension (3) being formed by cuts (20) or perforations located on opposing edges of the blank which are contacting each other in the first overlapping zone; an overlapping material (16) in the first overlapping zone besides the sealing flap (2) and the extension (3) being bonded; and the opening and closing mechanism being positioned on a largest surface (10) of the softpack (1).

  • Publication number: 20070042209
Abstract: Adhesive (a1, a2) as a pattern of deposits is applied on both sides of a hydrophilic spunbond non-woven inner ply (B) of low grammage and no or low adhesion ability. Together with this inner ply (B) a three ply planar absorbent product is made with tissue outer plies (A,C) by exerting pressure on the adhesive such that the adhesive penetrates through the inner ply (B) for achieving ply bonding between the inner ply (B) and the opposite outer ply (C). The different adhesive patterns do not disturb each other because they do not coincide.

  • Publication number: 20050100715
Abstract: A hygiene paper sheet having a substantially rectangular basic shape with four edges, wherein each two edges thereof oppose each other in a parallel relationship. Corner points are formed at the intersection of each two of the four edges, having no parallel relationship. At least one of the edges is formed in a non-straight manner in an area defined between two corner points each of the two corner points being formed by the intersection of the at least one edge with a corresponding other edge. A plurality of interconnected hygiene paper sheets as described above may constitute a paper web.

  • Publication number: 20050082022
Abstract: A method for autogenously bonding at least two plies of tissue paper with a basis weight from 10 to 45 g/m2 comprises the steps of: laying the plies face-to-face; ultrasonically bonding the plies to each other with the help of at least one ultrasonic horn which oscillates perpendicular to the surface to the tissue paper plies. A multi-ply tissue paper produced by the method is also described.

  • Publication number: 20020048662
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of and an apparatus for producing a printed ink pattern on a tissue. The method comprises the steps of applying ink onto a first embossing roll, passing the at least two plies through a nip formed between the first embossing roll and a second embossing roll, and embossing the at least two plies in the nip and simultaneously printing the ink onto a surface of the plies being embossed which surface defines an exterior surface of the tissue. The apparatus comprises a first embossing roll and a second embossing roll, the first and second embossing rolls forming an embossing nip therebetween, and an ink applying device. The ink applying device is arranged to apply ink onto the first embossing roll at such a position that, simultaneously to the embossing of the at least two plies in the nip, the ink is printed in the nip onto the exterior surface of the plies being embossed.
