Publication number: 20220367910Abstract: A rechargeable battery has a cathode including a cathode active material selected from lithium iron phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, lithium nickel cobalt aluminum oxide, or lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide. An anode includes an anode active material selected from lithium, lithium titanium oxide, graphite, or silicon. A separator is positioned between the cathode and the anode. The separator is impregnated with an in-situ-formed and synchronously polymerized non-flammable quasi-solid-state electrolyte. The electrolyte is formed from a solution of monomer, lithium salt, and cross-linker. The solution wets the cathode active material and the anode active material such that the polymerized non-flammable quasi-solid-state electrolyte impregnates the cathode active material and the anode active material. The manufacturing procedures are compatible with production methods of Li-ion batteries, such as drop casting, impregnating, injecting, and printing.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 15, 2022Publication date: November 17, 2022Inventors: Guodong ZHOU, Chin To Stephen KWOK, Jing YU, Francesco CIUCCI

Publication number: 20220351637Abstract: The present disclosure is related to systems and methods for assisting a user in practicing a smart musical instrument. The method includes obtaining a real-time image of the user playing the smart musical instrument. The method also includes obtaining information associated with a current key being pressed and information associated with a plurality of reference fingerings from the smart musical instrument. The method also includes displaying the real-time image in real-time. The method also includes determining whether a current fingering associated with the current key being pressed matches with a reference fingering, of the plurality of reference fingerings, associated with the current key being pressed. In response to a determination that the current fingering associated with the current key being pressed does not match the reference fingering, the method further includes generating a reminder. The method still further includes displaying the reference fingering corresponding to the current fingering.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 13, 2022Publication date: November 3, 2022Applicant: SUNLAND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.Inventors: Xiaolu LIU, Bin YAN, Gang TONG, Guodong ZHOU

Publication number: 20070067280Abstract: A Hidden Markov Model is used in Named Entity Recognition (NER). Using the constraint relaxation principle, a pattern induction algorithm is presented in the training process to induce effective patterns. The induced patterns are then used in the recognition process by a back-off modelling algorithm to resolve the data sparseness problem. Various features are structured hierarchically to facilitate the constraint relaxation process. In this way, the data sparseness problem in named entity recognition can be resolved effectively and a named entity recognition system with better performance and better portability can be achieved.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 31, 2003Publication date: March 22, 2007Applicant: AGENCY FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCHInventors: Guodong Zhou, Jian Su
