Abstract: A method for switching a shared network protocol of a baseboard management controller comprises: determining whether a mainboard is connected with an external network card by a baseboard management controller; determining whether an external network card network port of the external network card is connected with a network cable by the baseboard management controller when the mainboard is connected with the external network card; connecting a physical link of a shared network protocol of the baseboard management controller with the external network card network port when the external network card network port is connected with the network cable; and connecting the physical link of the shared network protocol of the baseboard management controller with a mainboard network port of the mainboard when the external network card network port is not connected with the network cable. As a result, the shared network protocol can be maintained in normal operation.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a server structure, a management controller of the mainboard of a mainboard obtains a sensor record from a resource box and saves the sensor record in the server. The mainboard has an external interface, and the management controller of the mainboard of the mainboard externally provides the sensor record of the mainboard and the obtained from the resource box of the resource box management controller of the mainboard through the external interface. This disclosure further provides a method for resource aggregation for the server, which comprises: S1: the management controller of the mainboard of the mainboard loads the sensor record of the resource box to the server; S2: the management controller of the mainboard of the mainboard integrals the sensor record of the resource box and the sensor record of the mainboard into a whole set sensor record.

Abstract: A method for managing two baseboard management controllers comprises connecting to a first baseboard management controller, sending an instruction to the first baseboard management controller, determining whether the instruction comprises a bridge parameter, when the instruction comprises the bridge parameter, sending the instruction to a second baseboard management controller through a bus, generating a response signal by the second baseboard management controller, and receiving the response signal by the first baseboard management controller and sending the response signal to an administration interface; otherwise, executing a corresponding operation according to the instruction by the first baseboard management controller and sending an operation result to the administration interface.

The logic device controls the computer system to turn on or shut down.
