Abstract: The present invention relates to computer technology. In particular, the present invention relates to a method of loading an image and the device thereof. The present invention first loads a thumbnail of the image, and then loads a full version of the image optionally. The present invention does not need to divide the image into multiple scenes, and is also different from other reloading method. Therefore, the method can improve the fluency of a game without interfering other programs, and overcome prior arts' drawbacks, such as limited application, low accuracy of loading and interference of other resources.
