Abstract: A method for preventing a verification flaw by controlling a session time and a session data traffic is applied to a networking equipment that stores a list of verified terminal devices, a temporary permit list, and a walled garden. When a terminal device is connected to the networking equipment, the networking equipment records the media information of the terminal device on the temporary permit list and starts recording a session time and session data traffic of the terminal device. Once the session time or session data traffic exceeds its upper limit (e.g., 10 minutes or 20 MB), the networking equipment cuts off connection with the terminal device, only when a frame received from the terminal device has a matching target address in the walled garden, the networking equipment will send the frame out therethrough. Thus, the terminal device, must be verified before it can access full network services.

Abstract: A power supply dock with wireless network and power management functions, comprising an enclosure, a wireless base station module and a control unit disposed in the enclosure, and a plurality of power supply sockets disposed on the enclosure. The wireless base station module communicates with an external first electric appliance via a wireless network. The power supply sockets are electrically connected to and supply power to the first electric appliance or an external second electric appliance. The power supply dock is connected with the utility power to power the wireless base station module so that the wireless network can be deployed quickly, and the coverage of the wireless network can be quickly enlarged through disposition of a plurality of such power supply docks.

The method comprises steps of: receiving a datagram; determining if the datagram complies with a predetermined format? If “YES” then proceed; determining if a MAC address contained in the datagram is the same with a currently used MAC address pre-stored in the terminal? If “YES” then proceed; determining if an IP address contained in the datagram is the same with a currently used IP address pre-stored in the terminal? If “NO” then re-connect or guide the terminal to the IP address contained in the datagram, if “YES” then handle the datagram by normal operations. Therefore, changes of the IP address of the host can be detected as early as possible, such that the terminal can be re-connected or guided to the host and services of the host can recovered as soon as possible.

Abstract: A frame blocking method for wireless device comprises the steps of: receiving a frame; determining if a size of the frame complies with a predetermined size? If “YES” then proceed; determining if the frame complies with a predetermined frame format? If “YES” then proceed; determining if an IP address contained in the frame is the same with a currently using IP address pre-stored in the client device? If “NO” then ignore the frame, if “YES” then handle the frame by normal operations. Therefore, unnecessary frames can be blocked as early as possible so as to save power and improve overall communicating quality.
