Publication number: 20240097520Abstract: An axial flux motor includes a rotor assembly and a stator assembly. The rotor assembly has magnets. The stator assembly has a circuit substrate, segmented iron cores, and a coil. The circuit substrate extends radially. The segmented iron cores are supported on the circuit substrate to be opposite to the magnet in the axial direction. Segmented iron cores arranged in the circumferential direction. A coil is sleeved on a segmented iron core. Holding seats of an insulating material correspond respectively to the segmented iron cores. A holding seat abuts with and covers a segmented iron core from both axial sides and the circumferential direction, and is used for winding the coil. The circuit substrate has slot holes. A slot hole is used for embedding and positioning a portion of a holding seat that protrudes more towards one axial side than the coil.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Keng-Chang WU, Guo-Jhih YAN, Hsiu-Ying LIN, Kuo-Min WANG

Patent number: 11427424Abstract: The present application relates to rolled good feeding device and method. Material feeding devices and methods are provided for conveying material from material rolls. The material roll may be adjusted in the longitudinal direction during the feeding process by a rectifying frame to aid in maintaining alignment during the unrolling. Tension of the unrolled material may be monitored and unrolling speeds of the feeding device can be adjusted to maintain tension of the material within a range for that material. Aspects also contemplate elements to feed multiple rolled materials simultaneously for subsequent processing in combination as layered materials.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2018Date of Patent: August 30, 2022Assignee: NIKE, INC.Inventors: Guo Chang Wang, Qi Feng Zheng, Bin Fu

Patent number: 10431430Abstract: Elastomeric components, such as a shoe outsole, are treated with a plasma application to clean and activate the elastomeric component. The application of plasma is controlled to achieve a sufficient surface composition change to enhance adhesion characteristics while not adversely physically deforming the elastomeric component. The plasma treatment is applied to increase carbonyl functional group concentrations within an altered region of the elastomeric component to within at least a range of 2%-15% of carbon atomic percentage composition. The cleaning and activation is controlled, in part, by ensuring a defined height offset range is maintained between the elastomeric component and the plasma source by a generated tool path. The elastomeric component may then be adhered, with an adhesive, to another component.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2018Date of Patent: October 1, 2019Assignee: NIKE, Inc.Inventors: Jen-Chuan Lin, Chun-Wei Huang, Pu-Yuan Chang, Su-Wen Kao, Guo-Chang Wang

Patent number: 10334209Abstract: A multiple camera vision system captures discrete images having overlapping fields of view. Each of the cameras is calibrated and the images from the cameras are stitched together as a stitched image. A stitched image from the multiple cameras is then used in a calibration process to prepare the multiple camera vision system to be used in connection with a processing operation. A stitched image is used as an input for identifying a feature of the material and for determining a tool path for the material. The tool path determined with the stitched image is provided to a process station to perform an operation on the material.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2016Date of Patent: June 25, 2019Assignee: NIKE, Inc.Inventors: Howard Fu, Guo-Chang Wang, Sunye Lee

Patent number: 9945610Abstract: An oven may facilitate heating, curing, and/or drying processes for manufactured items, such as shoe parts, using multiple groups of infrared sources. Each group of infrared sources may comprise a plurality of sources having heating parameters, such as a peak wavelength, power, distance from items to be cured, number of infrared sources, etc. By staging different types of sources throughout an oven, different aspects of the curing process may be performed in an efficient fashion. Further, conditions within the oven such as temperature and relative humidity may be monitored and adjusted to optimize curing conditions.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2012Date of Patent: April 17, 2018Assignee: NIKE, Inc.Inventors: Shih-Yuan Wu, Patrick Conall Regan, Guo-Chang Wang, Geoff M.
