  • Patent number: 8263021
Abstract: The present invention discloses a rotating mechanism for rotationally driving a solid-solid direct-heating reaction disc, comprising a fixed hollow shaft, a rotating sleeve assembly and a signal commutator, wherein the fixed hollow shaft is fixed, the rotating sleeve assembly rotatably surrounds the fixed hollow shaft, the reaction disc is supported by the rotating sleeve assembly so as to rotate along with the rotating sleeve assembly, and the signal commutator has a stationary end fixed to the fixed hollow shaft and a moving end co-rotating with the rotating sleeve assembly. By the rotating mechanism, the signal commutator is hold, and signal input and output between the moving end and the stationary end can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 8017076
Abstract: The present invention discloses a solid-solid direct-heating reaction disc arrangement comprising a reaction disc body, clampers, a heater and a driving plate. Holding slots for receiving reaction cups are formed axially through the reaction disc body at constant intervals. The clampers are mounted to the bottom surface of the reaction disc body and each comprise an upper clamper and a lower clamper which are fastened together. The bottom surfaces of the reaction cups rest on the upper clamper. The heater is sandwiched between the upper and lower clampers for heating the reaction disc body and the reaction cups. The driving plate is mounted to a supporting plate of the reaction disc body. By arranging the reaction disc body, the clampers, the heater and the driving plate in a receiving chamber defined by a cover and an insulation casing, a closed temperature control system is formed.

  • Patent number: 8007740
Abstract: The invention discloses a reaction cuvette wash unit comprising a cleaning needle assembly, a straight guide pair, a slide screw pair, a motor, a trigger component associated with a cleaning needle of the cleaning needle assembly in a manner to move with that cleaning needle, and a sensor used to sense the position of the trigger component. When the trigger component moves to a predetermined position, the sensor is triggered and sends a signal to a controller such that the controller controls in a manner to stop the motor. Each of cleaning needle components further comprises a sheath holder and an elastic member. The elastic member is designed to provide an elastic contact while the cleaning needles touch the bottom surface of the reaction cuvette, such that a relatively small force is exerted upon the bottom of the reaction cuvette, thereby effectively protecting the reaction cuvette from damage.
