Abstract: A method for detecting coverage of a target network, including acquiring a list of carrier frequencies of a target network that covers a position of an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) terminal; sending, to the eUICC terminal, a frequency measurement request that carries the list of carrier frequencies, so that the eUICC terminal performs frequency measurement for each carrier frequency in the list of carrier frequencies; and receiving a frequency measurement report reported by the eUICC terminal. A corresponding apparatus, including a subscription management entity, a network device, and an eUICC terminal. According to the technical solutions of the present disclosure, a coverage status of a target network to be switched to can be detected before switching.

Abstract: A subscription transfer method, apparatus, and system are provided. The method includes receiving a subscription transfer request message sent by a first user equipment (UE) or a second UE, where the first UE is a target UE to which an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) subscription is transferred, and the second UE is a source UE from which the eUICC subscription is transferred; and transferring the eUICC subscription from the second UE to the first UE according to the subscription transfer request message, so that the first UE accesses an operator network according to transferred eUICC subscription data. The technical solution of the present invention can implement transfer of an eUICC subscription between UEs that use an eUICC, making it more flexible and convenient for a user to change a UE.

Abstract: A method and device for switching between networks, where the method includes, if a notification that a signal of a first operator network is lost is received from a user equipment (UE), sending a temporary operational profile (OP) request to a remote management platform of a second operator network; receiving a temporary OP and a validity period of the temporary OP; instructing the UE to detect signal strength of the first operator network, and accessing the second operator network using the temporary OP; and before the validity period of the temporary OP expires, if it is determined according to the signal strength of the first operator network that the signal of the first operator network is recovered, re-accessing the first operator network.

Abstract: In a method, after a terminal is handed over from a home network to a redundant network, the terminal receives a value of a periodic network detection timer that is sent by a handover module. The value of the periodic network detection timer is determined by a subscription management device according to a policy and sent to the handover module, or the value of the periodic network detection timer is preset by the handover module. The terminal periodically detects signal strength of the home network of the terminal according to the value of the periodic network detection timer. If it is detected that the signal strength of the home network of the terminal is restored, a home network restoration report is sent to the handover module.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a trigger message sending method, device and system, which relate to the field of communications technologies and can resolve a problem that a Machine Type Communications-Inter Working Function MTC-IWF device and a short message service-service center SMS-SC repeatedly send a trigger Trigger message to a user equipment UE. The method includes: receiving, by the MTC-IWF device, a delivery report sent by the SMS-SC, where the delivery report is sent to the MTC-IWF device by the SMS-SC after the SMS-SC fails to send the trigger message to the UE; and waiting, by the MTC-IWF device according to the delivery report, for the SMS-SC to resend the trigger message, or resending, by the MTC-IWF device, the trigger message according to the delivery report. The present invention is mainly used in a process of sending a trigger message.

Abstract: A method for controlling a connection between a user equipment and a network, and a mobility management entity. The method includes: receiving, by a mobility management entity, a network connection request sent by a user equipment; determining a priority of the network connection request and a network overload state; and controlling a connection between the user equipment and a network according to the priority of the network connection request and the network overload state. The mobility management entity according to the embodiments of the present invention can selectively control the connection between the user equipment and the network by determining the priority of the network connection request and the network overload state.

Abstract: The present invention is applicable to the field of communications technologies, and provides an event reporting method and system, where the method includes: reporting, by a terminal, information about a monitored event to a core network management control network element, so that the core network management control network element reports the information to a server, where the information about the event includes indication information of the monitored event or status information of the monitored event or both. Abstract: The present invention discloses a data downlink transmission method and a device, and belongs to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: receiving, by an MTC-IWF device, a first message sent by a server, where the first message includes downlink data that needs to be sent to a user equipment; and acquiring, by the MTC-IWF device, locally stored serving node information of the user equipment, and sending a second message to a serving node of the UE according to the serving node information of the UE, where the second message includes the downlink data that needs to be sent to the user equipment, so that the serving node sends the downlink data to the user equipment.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for transmitting data. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for learning an online state of a terminal are provided. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for obtaining a destination IP address and are related to the field of communications technologies, for improving a data sending success rate in a network. The method includes: receiving a request sent by a terminal device, obtaining a destination IP address from a network-side device according to the request, and sending the destination IP address to the terminal device. The method and the apparatus for obtaining a destination IP address provided by the embodiments of the present invention are applied in an M2M technology.
