The system further includes a second model trained to classify a cutting element event of the cutting element according to an unsupervised machine learning algorithm, and output a predicted behavior of the cutting element event. The upper body includes a cutting face opposite the lower side and bordered by a cutting edge, a side surface extending from the cutting edge, wherein an upper body diameter is measured between the side surface, and a catalyst-free polycrystalline diamond (CFPCD) portion forming the cutting face, the cutting edge, and at least a portion of the side surface. The CFPCD portion has a diamond matrix formed of a plurality of bonded together diamond grains, wherein diamond forms at least 99 percent by volume of the CFPCD portion, and wherein the CFPCD portion extends at least 1 mm from the cutting face. The shaft has a circumferential groove extending around its circumference and a shaft diameter less than the upper body diameter.

The sensor sleeve may include a transmitter that transmits a sensing signal in a direction of a fluid in the wellbore, a receiver that receives the sensing signal after the sensing signal is reflected on a surface of the fluid, and a repeater that determines a distance between the sensor sleeve and the fluid level from the transmitted and received sensing signal. The fluid level in the wellbore may be calculated using the distance determined by the repeater and a distance between the sensor sleeve and a surface of the wellbore.

The ball catcher is configured to receive and hold the ball after the plurality of microchips are released into the well. The ball catcher and the ball are made of a dissolvable material.

    Abstract: Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method can be used to make drilling tools from new wurtzite boron nitride (w-BN) superhard material. An ultra-high-pressure, high-temperature operation is performed on pure w-BN powder to synthesize w-BN and cubic boron nitride (c-BN) compact having a first size greater than particles of the pure w-BN powder. The ultra-high-pressure, high-temperature operation includes pressurizing the w-BN powder to a pressure of approximately 20 Gigapascal, heating the w-BN powder at a heating rate of 100° C./minute and cooling the w-BN powder at a cooling rate of 50° C./minute. The compact is cut to a second size smaller than the first size using laser cutting tools. The cut compact is bonded metallurgically, mechanically, or both metallurgically and mechanically onto a tool substrate to form the drilling tool.
