    Abstract: A method and system for pretreating waste plastics and a method and system for producing an automotive fuel from waste plastics are provided. The method for pretreating waste plastics includes the steps of: 1) contacting a waste plastic with a pretreating agent and a solvent oil for impurity removal; and 2) subjecting the effluent from step 1) to solid-liquid separation to obtain an insoluble material and an impurity-removed plastic-containing solution. The impurity-removed plastic-containing solution obtained by the method and system for pretreating waste plastics has very low metal content, chlorine content and silicon content.

    Abstract: A molecular sieve has a silica/alumina molar ratio of 100-300, and has a mesopore structure. One closed hysteresis loop appears in the range of P/P0=0.4-0.99 in the low temperature nitrogen gas adsorption-desorption curve, and the starting location of the closed hysteresis loop is in the range of P/P0=0.4-0.7. The catalyst formed from the molecular sieve as a solid acid not only has a good capacity of isomerization to reduce the freezing point, but also can produce a high yield of the product with a lower pour point. The process for preparing the catalyst involves steps including crystallization, filtration, calcination, and hydrothermal treatment.

    Abstract: A microsphere of oxide has an opening on its surface connected to a hollow core inside, forming a cavity. The oxide the microsphere is made of is selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, zirconia, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide and titania. The microsphere of oxide shows better mass and heat transfer characteristics, and has strength significantly higher than that of existing products with similar structures. A FT synthesis catalyst has the microsphere of oxide as a support and an active metal component disposed on the support. The active metal component is one or more selected from the group consisting of Co, Fe, and Ru.

    Abstract: A catalyst for the selective hydrogenation of olefins especially dienes, its preparation and use, said catalyst comprising an alumina support and cobalt and/or nickel selected from Group VIII, molybdenum and/or tungsten from Group VIB and alkali metal components supported on said support, characterized in that the catalyst contains 0.5-8% by weight of cobalt and/or nickel selected from Group VIII, 2-15% by weight of molybdenum and/or tungsten from Group VIB, over 2-8% by weight of alkali metals, and a balanced amount of alumina support calculated for oxides and based on the catalyst. Compared to the prior catalysts, the activity and selectivity for olefins especially dienes of the catalyst are higher when used in the hydrogenation of a gasoline distillate.

    Abstract: A conversion process of hydrocarbon oils comprises at least a hydrodemercaptanization process, wherein said hydrodemercaptanization process comprises contacting a feedstock with a hydrofining catalyst containing a tungsten oxide and/or a molybdenum oxide, a nickel oxide and a cobalt oxide supported on an alumina under the conditions of hydrodemercaptanization, in which the content of said tungsten oxide and/or molybdenum oxide is from 4 wt % to less than 10 wt %, the nickel oxide content is 1-5 wt %, the cobalt oxide content is 0.01-1 wt % based on the catalyst, and the ratio of total atom number of nickel and cobalt to total atom number of nickel, cobalt, tungsten and/or molybdenum is 0.3-0.9. Said process can be carried out at a lower temperature and a lower H/oil volume ratio.

    Abstract: A hydrotreating catalyst containing molybdenum and/or tungsten for light oil distillates, said catalyst contains tungsten oxide and/or moybdenum oxide, nickel oxide and cobalt oxide supported on an alumina carrier, the content of said tungsten oxide and/or molybdenum oxide is from 4 wt % to less than 10 wt %, the content of nickel oxide 1.about.5 wt %, the content of cobalt oxide 0.01.about.1 wt %, the atom ratio of nickel-cobalt to nickel, cobalt-tungsten and/or molybdenum is 0.3.about.0.9. Compared with the prior art, the catalyst has lower metal content, but higher activity at low-temperature. The catalyst is especially suitable for use in the hydrodemercaptanization process of light oil distillates.
