  • Publication number: 20260197364
Abstract: Data replication techniques involve determining a total replication bandwidth based on a plurality of replication sessions. The plurality of replication sessions are used to replicate data. Such techniques further involve comparing the total replication bandwidth with a replication link bandwidth. Such techniques further involve prioritizing, in response to the total replication bandwidth being greater than the replication link bandwidth, the plurality of replication sessions based on one or more of a user-defined priority, a differential data priority, a data change rate priority, a replication progress priority, a replication session start time priority, and a lost recovery point objective (RPO) priority. Such techniques further involve performing the data replication based on the plurality of ranked replication sessions.

  • Publication number: 20260111318
Abstract: Techniques for adjusting a recovery point objective involve determining a total replication bandwidth and a replication link bandwidth. The total replication bandwidth indicates the sum of replication bandwidths of a plurality of replication sessions, and the replication link bandwidth indicates a maximum bandwidth of a replication link. Such techniques further involve increasing a recovery point objective of the replication link in response to the total replication bandwidth being greater than the replication link bandwidth. The recovery point objective indicates a maximum data loss time range. Such techniques further involve reducing the recovery point objective of the replication link in response to the total replication bandwidth being less than the replication link bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20260003750
Abstract: Techniques for synchronizing data involve determining, in response to that a replication session in a source cluster is initiated, a recovery point objective (RPO) of the replication session and a plurality of parameters of each device in a plurality of devices in a remote cluster. The plurality of parameters include at least performance headroom and a recovery point objective of a resident replication session. Such techniques further involve selecting a target device from the plurality of devices based on the recovery point objective of the replication session and the plurality of parameters. Such techniques further involve synchronizing data associated with the replication session from the source cluster to the target device in the remote cluster.

  • Publication number: 20250298700
Abstract: Techniques for backup involve determining parameters of replication sessions in a waiting queue in response to a backup execution command being triggered; and such techniques further involve determining weights of the replication sessions based on the parameters of the replication sessions. Such techniques further involve selecting at least one replication session from the replication sessions to enter a running queue based on the weights of the replication sessions. Such techniques further involve performing a backup task with respect to the at least one replication session in the running queue. Accordingly, each replication session is ranked based on priority, and parameters are taken into account in the ranking to improve backup efficiency, thereby reducing the number of waiting and failed tasks and better protecting data, which enhances the replication capability of the system and increases the replication limit number to prevent the system from running out of memory.

  • Patent number: 12223363
Abstract: Techniques for managing resources of a virtualized system involve acquiring historical distribution data about a virtualized system, the historical distribution data indicating a historical distribution of resources occupied by workloads on a plurality of host machines of the virtualized system over a predetermined historical time period. The techniques further involve generating predicted distribution data based on the historical distribution data, the predicted distribution data indicating an estimated distribution of resources occupied by the workloads on the plurality of host machines over a predetermined future time period. The techniques further involve performing workload migration at least once based on the predicted distribution data, the workload migration including migrating a workload of a first host machine whose first estimated quantity of occupied resources exceeds a high threshold to a second host machine whose second estimated quantity of occupied resources is below a low threshold.
