  • Patent number: 11943221
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include systems and methods configured to prevent masquerading service attacks. A non-limiting example computer-implemented method includes sending, from a first server in a cloud environment, a communication request comprising an application programming interface (API) key and a first server identifier to an identity and access management (IAM) server of the cloud environment. The API key can be uniquely assigned by the IAM server to a first component of the first server. The first server receives a credential that includes a token for the first component and sends the credential to a second server. The second server sends the credential, a second server identifier, and an identifier for a second component of the second server to the IAM server. The second server receives an acknowledgment from the IAM server and sends the acknowledgment to the first server.

  • Patent number: 11802475
Abstract: A method is provided for monitoring the occurrence of pressure anomalies due to FDI in near real time during a hydraulic fracturing operation carried out on an active well that is located near one or more passive monitoring wells. The method includes the steps of obtaining raw pressure sensor data from the one or more passive monitoring wells, processing the pressure sensor data with the FDI analysis module, and determining if the rate of change for averaged pressure sensor data exceeds a preset threshold value that indicates the likelihood of a pressure anomaly. The methods can be configured to autonomously alert an operator of the likelihood of a pressure anomaly and with guidance on resolving the anomalies.

  • Patent number: 10975668
Abstract: The current subject matter is related to optimizing resource (e.g., steam) allocation within steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) system, and predicting future oil production from production wells of the SAGD system. In some embodiments data characterizing a hypothetical rate of steam injection into injection wells of the SAGD system can be applied within a capacitance resistance model (CRM) to determine an estimated rate of future fluid production, the fluid being a mixture of oil and water. An emulsion viscosity, as well as the estimate rate of future fluid production, can be applied within a Koval fractional flow model to determine an estimate rate of future oil production. In some cases, the hypothetical rate of steam injection can be optimized based on an optimization objective, e.g., a steam-to-oil ratio (SOR).

  • Patent number: 10605054
Abstract: A system includes a schedule generator having one or more processors configured to obtain resource extraction parameters for extracting a resource from a reservoir. The resource extraction parameters include well creation parameters associated with drilling wellbores, well stimulation parameters associated with introducing fracturing fluid into the wellbores, and production parameters associated with extracting the resource through the wellbores. The schedule generator selects initial trial schedules having different values of the resource extraction parameters and receives initial resource output data generated by execution of the initial trial schedules with a designated reservoir model. The schedule generator generates a surrogate model based on the initial resource output data and the initial trial schedules and uses the surrogate model to perform iterations of selecting modified trial schedules until a predetermined condition is satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20190186237
Abstract: A system includes a steam distributor configured to distribute steam received from a steam generator to multiple injection wells in a well pad for steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) resource production. The system also includes one or more processors configured to control the steam distributor to distribute the steam to the injection wells according to a resultant scheme including values representing multiple parameters for the SAGD resource production. The parameters include the allocated quantities of steam, pressures within multiple production wells associated with the injection wells, and time periods that the steam is directed into the injection wells. The one or more processors are configured to determine the resultant scheme by performing multiple iterations of a surrogate evaluation process until a stop criterion is met, and identifying the resultant scheme as the sample scheme of a final iteration prior to the stop criterion being met.

  • Patent number: 8335758
Abstract: The data ETL (Extraction-Transformation-Loading) dispatching method of the present invention is applied to a real-time data ETL system, wherein a main ETL dispatching engine executes tasks according to preset sequence. In the execution, some key information are memorized by the main ETL dispatching engine, such as lscycle (latest successful data cycle), curcycle (current processing data cycle), and endcycle (processing end data cycle), etc., and are transferred to called programs. After the execution of the called programs, the main ETL dispatching engine records and keeps the updated dispatching information. In the data re-extraction, the data ETL dispatching method is adopted for the automatic re-extraction of some tasks and some cycles therein.

  • Publication number: 20100179957
Abstract: The polling method of switch status based on Timer-triggered Scheduler of Stored Procedures is to create interface tables related with switch status in the database including switch object table, switch type table, alarms information table which are used to store meta-information and switch status values. Then, create stored procedure of acquiring relevant switch status for each kind of switch needed for polling of switch status, and data will be filtered out and switch status will be judged via the related stored procedures, and write the status values into relevant switch status interface table; finally create regularly-executed tasks to regularly schedule each stored procedure required to poll switch status. The whole process is composed of three parts: i.e., create relevant switch status interface table; create stored procedure of acquiring switch status and setting status value; regularly-executed tasks.
