Patent number: 12271867Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, devices, and techniques for managing resources in an enterprise network using lifecycle prediction. In an example method, a resource may be identified as operational within an enterprise network. An initial lifecycle of the resource may be estimated based at least partly on one or more characteristics of the resource. At least one trigger condition associated with the resource may be identified as having occurred. In response to identifying that the at least one trigger condition has occurred, an updated lifecycle of the resource may be estimated by applying at least one rule associated with the at least one trigger condition to the initial lifecycle. An expiration time of the resource may be determined based on the updated lifecycle. The resource may be replaced in advance of the expiration date of the resource.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2021Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance CompanyInventors: Rebecca Anne Olmstead, Amy Marie Stuepfert, Julie Christine Wirtjes, Cheryl L. Patent number: 12103396Abstract: A system includes a surface, a display screen positioned adjacent to the surface, and a selectively retractable screen cover positioned at the surface adjacent the display screen. The selectively retractable screen cover including a door member rotatably mounted relative to the surface between a first stop, wherein the display screen is fully exposed and a second stop, wherein only the display screen is only partially exposed, the door member including a door pivot. An actuating fork includes a first tine element, a second tine element, and a connector portion defining an axis of rotation. The door pivot is slidingly received between the first tine element and the second tine element. A motor includes a shaft connected to the actuating fork. The motor rotates the shaft to shift the door member between the first stop and the second stop.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2022Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Assignee: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Gurnek Singh, Alfredo J. Patent number: 11359420Abstract: A door latch for a motor vehicle compartment includes a latch pawl having a locked position and an unlocked position, the locked position preventing access to the compartment, the unlocked position providing access to the compartment, and an actuator that rotates about a first pivot point. The actuator selectively engages with the latch pawl to move the latch pawl from the locked position to the unlocked position.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 2019Date of Patent: June 14, 2022Assignee: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Gurnek Singh, Scott J. Patent number: 10328833Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for a console assembly for a vehicle. The apparatus comprises a console structure and a movable structure that is supported for movement in and out from the console structure. Additionally, the console assembly includes a cup holder structure that is supported by the movable structure. The cup holder structure includes a cup holder that is supported for movement by the movable structure between a retracted position and an extended position. The cup holder is configured to remain substantially in the retracted position as the movable structure moves between a first position and a second position. The cup holder is configured to move between the retracted position and the extended position as the movable structure moves between the second position and a third position.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2017Date of Patent: June 25, 2019Assignee: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Gurnek Singh, Thomas Hallman, Scott J. Patent number: 9140044Abstract: An assembly for a vehicle includes a bin defining a compartment with an access opening. A lid at least partially covers the access opening when in a closed position. A single cross bar is adjacent the lid. The cross bar is pivotably attached to the bin near a first end of the cross bar and is pivotably attached to the lid near a second end of the cross bar. Latching mechanisms releasably latch the lid to the bin and the single cross bar. The lid is releasably latched only to the bin and the single cross bar. The lid is pivotable in a first direction to a first open position, and is alternately pivotable in a second direction to a second open position. A first biasing mechanism biases the lid to the first open position. A second biasing mechanism biases the lid to the second open position.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2013Date of Patent: September 22, 2015Assignee: GM Global Technology Operations LLCInventor: Gurnek Singh
