Abstract: Techniques to determine portfolio relevant articles are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a priority model engine operative to analyze an article to generate a priority model score; an entity recognition engine operative to determine one or more entities mentioned in the article; an ontology engine operative to match the one or more entities to one or more investment holdings; determine a portfolio related to the one or more entities; a connection and risk engine operative to determine a connection-risk score for the article as it relates to the portfolio; and a score server operative to generate a final score for the article based on the priority model score and the connection score; and determine whether to provide the article to a user associated with the portfolio based on the final score.
