  • Publication number: 20230230005
Abstract: In an example, a cloud service management node includes a knowledge base having a plurality of billing rules for a cloud computing environment, a processor, and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory may include a discount predictor module to receive an actual bill related to consumption of a cloud service in the cloud computing environment. Further, the discount predictor module may determine a variation between the actual bill and an expected cost from a public rate card by comparing the actual bill with the expected cost. Furthermore, the discount predictor module may evaluate the plurality of billing rules to predict a discount type and a discount associated with the discount type that matches the variation between the actual bill and the expected cost from the public rate card. Further, the discount predictor module may output the discount type and the discount on an interactive user interface.

  • Publication number: 20190043496
Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitry for performing distributed speech processing are provided. In one example voice activation circuitry is configured to receive audio data detected by a gateway that is connected to a plurality of devices and recognize a key phrase based on the audio data. In response to recognizing the key phrase, the voice activation circuitry is configured to store the audio data in memory located in the gateway and provide the stored audio data to a selected device in the plurality of devices for speech processing.

  • Patent number: 10142533
Abstract: Technologies for managing access to image data streams generated by a plurality of image sensors of an image sensor array include a camera driver module. The camera driver module limits exposure to a user to all but one of the image sensors of the image sensor array. In some embodiments, the image sensor array may include a single primary image sensor that is exposed to the user and one or more secondary sensors that are not exposed to the user. In other embodiments, the image sensor array may include more than one primary image sensor and any number of secondary image sensors. In such an embodiment, only one of the primary image sensors are exposed to the user, and none of the secondary image sensors, if available, are exposed to the user. Other embodiments are described herein and claimed.

  • Patent number: 9891698
Abstract: A system may configure at least a low power engine (LPE) and network interface circuitry when transitioning from an active state to a low-power state. The network interface circuitry may be configured to receive information from a network and to store any received information containing audio information into a memory location. The LPE may be configured to monitor the memory location, to retrieve the stored information from the memory location, to generate audio information based on the stored information and to provide the audio information to audio circuitry for playback. It is also possible for the LPE to receive audio information from the audio circuitry, to generate information for transmission based on the audio information and to store the information into a second memory location. The network interface circuitry may then retrieve the stored information from the second memory location and transmit the information to the network.

  • Publication number: 20170289515
Abstract: High dynamic range depth generation is described for 3D imaging systems. One example includes receiving a first exposure of a scene having a first exposure level, determining a first depth map for the first depth exposure, receiving a second exposure of the scene having a second exposure level, determining a second depth map for the second depth exposure, and combining the first and second depth map to generate a combined depth map of the scene.

  • Publication number: 20130003963
Abstract: Embodiments of techniques and systems for content protection and detection of protected media content are described. Visual tracking patterns may be displayed during rendering of protected media content that would be visible to a camcorder during recording. The visual tracking pattern may be placed in a background area or other less-active portion of the video in order to reduce perceptibility by a viewer. Audio tracking patterns may be inserted during rendering outside of the range of normal human hearing for reduced viewer perceptibility. The tracking patterns may encode media tracking codes that are included in to-be-rendered media during provision from a media server. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
