    Abstract: A method of improving the solubility of lecithin comprises steps which include the step of mixing lecithin with a solubilizing agent selected from the group consisting of tertiary amine oxides, alkyl alcohol sulfate salts, alkylamidopropyl betaines, sodium alkene sulfonates, alkyl sulfo acetates and disodium salt of monoalkyl amide of sulfosuccinate. The lecithin is rendered infinitely soluble in water and soluble in limited quantities of aqueous ethanol.
