  • Patent number: 11306789
Abstract: An anti-squeal shim includes at least a first metal layer and an elastomer layer that is bonded to the first metal layer. The at least first metal layer is configured as a first electrode for electrical connection to a resistance measuring system, and the elastomer layer is configured with structural spatial features that enable the elastomer layer to obtain a reduced thickness when subjected to a mechanical force in a direction perpendicular to the elastomer layer.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 25, 2020
Date of Patent: April 19, 2022
Assignee: Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Kalmar AB
Inventors: Jonas Karl-Gustaf Andersson, Nils Marcus Olsson, Lars Christian Dahl
  • Patent number: 10941862
Abstract: Sealing caps and method for manufacturing such sealing caps are presented wherein the sealing cap has a body (1) with a U-shaped profile with a base (9) and a perimeter wall (7) wherein the outside of the body is coated with a layer of an elastic material (5) and wherein the base is provided with a continuous convex ridge (12) adjacent the perimeter wall.

  • Patent number: 5805569
Abstract: A packet switching network having a malfunction list is provided to reduce network congestion. According to an exemplary embodiment, each node in the network includes a malfunction list which stores an unavailability value representing a state of unavailability of certain addressees in the network. Before sending a packet to an addressee, the node consults its own malfunction list to determine the unavailability value of the addressee. A packet addressed to an unavailable addressee is selectively returned to the sender by the node rather than travelling through the network to the addressee and back through the network to the sender. Packets can be returned to the sender with a probability proportional to the unavailability value of the addressee so that transmission is gradually resumed after a state of unavailability as the unavailability value decreases over time.

  • Patent number: 5361993
Abstract: A device for processing a concrete layer by water jets, comprising a jet tube on a carriage moveable to and fro along a guide. The jet tube is pivoted in planes substantially parallel to the guide and oscillates in planes making an angle with the guide. The jet tube is inclined in one direction along the extension of the guide during the movement of the carriage along the guide, and a control unit ensures that pivoting of the jet tube with an angular velocity leading to movement of a nozzle of the jet tube along the guide with a velocity substantially equal to the velocity of the carriage is initiated at the same time as the carriage is stopped in an end position, and the control unit starts the movement of the carriage in an opposite direction when the jet tube has finished its pivoting movement.

  • Patent number: 4478141
Abstract: An apparatus for heat treatment of food products, in the form of a product bed consisting of solid particles, includes a container with a perforated bottom for the product bed. Gas is adapted to be supplied to the product bed in the container of this apparatus generally from below upwards through the perforated bottom at such a velocity that the product bed will form a fluidized bed. The gas, which is caused to circulate in the apparatus by means of a fan and to flow through the container as well as through a heat exchanger, is adapted to pulsate through the product bed in the container. According to the invention the apparatus is provided with a conduit passing by the container and being situated before the container with the perforated bottom, as counted in the flow direction, said conduit being provided with a rotatable damper which is adapted during its rotation to raise and lower the pressure under the perforated bottom for the pulsation of the gas through the product bed.

  • Patent number: 4265096
Abstract: Arrangement in a freezing plant, comprising a combination of a conventional freezer and a precool unit. The arrangement is connected between the freezer and the precool unit in such a way that the amount of air in the freezing plant is maintained substantially constant without any reaction with the ambient atmosphere.
