Patent number: 8146356Abstract: The procedure, provides a simple and retro-fittable manner to align working equipment, mounted to a liftable and lowerable hoisting frame of a working machine in a tilting way to comply with required positions, wherein the working equipment is shifted via a tilting cylinder in other directions than the hoisting framing. The tilting cylinder is supplied with hydraulic oil from a hydraulic pump for the working hydraulic system by a direct-operated control valve, and secondary consumers of the working machine being supplied with hydraulic oil from at least one other hydraulic pump. Once the driver operates a triggering element, the two hydraulic connections of the tilting cylinder are also connected to the hydraulic pump for the secondary consumers by a switch-over valve activated by the control equipment, therefore shifting the tilting cylinder in the direction of the neutral position of the working equipment.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2007Date of Patent: April 3, 2012Assignee: CNH Baumaschinen GmbHInventors: Gustav Leidinger, Jörg Hermanns

Patent number: 6959497Abstract: The invention relates to a device for detecting the angle of rotation between two components (1, 2), which are rotatably interconnected via a pin (3). Said device comprises an angle sensor (5), which is directly or indirectly connected to one of the two components (1 or 2) in a rotationally fixed manner and whose sensor shaft (8) is rotatably fixed to the other component (2 or 1) via a lever-shaped driver (9), whereby the angle of rotation is detected by the angle sensor (5) from the twisting of the sensor shaft (8). The aim of the invention is to improve the device of the aforementioned type such that the angle of rotation between two components can be detected in a significantly more precise manner, and such that the device can be used in a more reliable and practical manner. To this end, the invention provides that the sensor shaft (8) is connected to the driver (9) via at least one torsion-proof flexible element (11, 12).Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2001Date of Patent: November 1, 2005Assignee: O & K Orenstein and Koppel AGInventor: Gustav Leidinger

Patent number: 5784812Abstract: A method for the positionally correct placement of an operating equipment including a scoop tiltably disposed on a descending lift frame of a mobile machine including a wheeled loader. An automatic positioning device is actuated thereby activating a first magnetic valve utilizing a logical switching device cooperating with the automatic positioning device for switching a tilting piston of a control slide operatively connected to a tilting cylinder and to the lift frame into a position in which the control slide releases an oil flow to the tilting cylinder. The oil flow is delivered utilizing a controlled pump. A plurality of measurements is performed of a traveled distance of a piston rod of the tilting cylinder at predeterminable places during a continued extension of the piston rod thereby obtaining distance measurement values.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 1997Date of Patent: July 28, 1998Assignee: O&K Orenstein & Koppel AGInventors: Gustav Leidinger, Walter Kolb, Gunter Bronner

Patent number: 4852660Abstract: A grader has a grader blade which can be pressed against the ground or lifted off it by means of piston-cylinder drives. To be able to vary the downard pressure of the grader blade in its float position, either the piston chamber or the piston ring chamber of each drive can be charged with a working fluid under pressure when the grader blade is in the float position, so that the corresponding drive exerts a force on the grader blade which increases or decreases the downward pressure of the grader blade on the ground. While still allowing the grader blue to follow the contour of the ground.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 1988Date of Patent: August 1, 1989Assignee: O & K Orenstein & Koppel AktiengesellschaftInventors: Gustav Leidinger, Gunther Proll, Walter Kolb
