  • Patent number: 5369324
Abstract: An electric motor consisting of an inside stator part and a rotor part placed outside and concentrically in relation to the stator part, has a high number of permanent magnets (13) on the inside of the rotor part. The magnetic fields from these permanent magnets interact with magnetic fields between flux-conducting lamella blocks (30, 35) engaging the coil cores (8) on the stator. The lamella blocks (30, 35) are T- and .GAMMA.-shaped with top beams (25, 27) pointing in directions parallel to the axis, and the top beams (25, 27) are positioned to provide substantially circumferentially directed magnetic fields in flux gaps (36) therebetween. The magnetic fields in the flux gaps (36) between the top beams (25, 27) are reversed in successive order, and under time control from an electronic regulator.

  • Patent number: 4611757
Abstract: A mixing device for mixing two fluids, in particular cold and hot water, includes a mixing valve and an enclosure which houses at least some component parts. For temperature control the device includes an electric motor which is adapted to turn a movable valve disc of the valve for controlling the temperature. A micro processor with an operating portion, display portion and control portion is provided in the enclosure in connection with a temperature sensor in the water outlet of the valve, and with the electric motor. A display shows the temperature of the fluid, and the operating portion includes two switch knobs or buttons for raising and lowering the fluid temperature. Flow control takes place by means of a turning handle. Through an eccentric linkage rotary motion of the handle is converted to a substantial linear motion of the movable valve disc.

  • Patent number: 4074697
Abstract: A dual handle faucet for mixing hot and cold water for hand wash basins, bathing tubs, etc., has with actuator handles arranged axially at the opposite ends of a faucet case. A substantially cylindrical valve body is fixedly mounted axially in the faucet case. The valve body has two separate L-shaped passages, each having a radial inlet and an axial end outlet, the faces of the wall surrounding the end outlets constituting valve seats. The valve body also has a T-shaped passage with two coaxial end inlets and a common radial outlet. The radial inlets register with corresponding inlets in the faucet case. The radial outlet registers with an outlet or a mixing chamber merging into an outlet in the faucet case.
