Abstract: The composite material comprises nitrate and chloride anion inorganic salts which may also comprise sulphates, carbonates and/or nitrites and organic and inorganic nanoparticles, such as graphene, and cations of the alkaline, earth-alkaline, earth, carbon and/or amphigenic chemical groups. Said formulations have chemical and physical characteristics, such as the heat capacity, thermal stability and thermal conductivity thereof which make them optimum for being used as an alternative to the commercially available binary mixture in concentrating solar power plants.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides inventive methods and formulations for immunosuppressive therapy for dry eye and other related immune mediated eye diseases. The formulations can comprise one or more immunomodulatory drugs such as parenterally administered liposome encapsulated rapamycin and topically administered tacrolimus. Immunomodulatory drugs herein can be formulated and administered to address the causes and/or reduce the symptoms of dry eye and/or other related immune mediated diseases of the eye.

Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X80D011 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X80D011, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X80D011. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X80D011.

A removable insect-infestation prevention device is located adjacent the cable exit/entry opening, the insect-infestation prevention device including cable openings communicating with the cable exit/entry opening. The cable openings of the device are sized to accommodate fiber optic cables exiting or entering the housing while limiting the amount of free space around the fiber optic cables to prevent insects from entering the housing.

Abstract: A method and a system to discover and establish an enriched communication channel in a voice call. In the method of the invention said voice call is performed between at least a first user and a second user via their telephone devices, and it comprises discovering if said first and second users are supplied with smart devices provided with hardware, software and/or connectivity capabilities and establishing said enriched communication channel between said smart devices. The system is arranged for implementing the method of the present invention.

Abstract: A lamp module for use in non-destructive testing and inspection. The module including a module body with a front and rear end, and a side wall. The module body includes a mounting chamber located within the side walls. A plurality of LEDs are mounted within the chamber and oriented to so as to emit light out of the front end of the body. At least one LED emits light having a wavelength selected to produce fluorescence of an illuminated material. A fan is mounted to the body to dissipate heat generated by the LEDs when the fan is activated. Electrical connectors extend out of the body and are electrically connected to the LEDs and the fan for supplying current. The module can be installed in various structures or systems, including in a luminaire, an overhead light housing or a track light system.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the secure access of a mobile device to a nearby client device that includes the following: 1. the mobile device generating, at the time of receiving a determined stimulus, a code comprising security credentials and a contact address in a server; 2. representing the code and address in the screen of the mobile device; 3. the client device detecting and extracting the represented information; 4. the client device connecting to the contact address using the credentials; 5. the client obtaining the information contained in the contact address. By applying the method the server device can indicate the mode of access to the contents or services associated with the device, both if they are offered directly from the device itself and if they are offered from another external element.
