  • Patent number: 11110816
Abstract: A condition-based maintenance method is provided for a primary electrical system of a vehicle. The method includes obtaining a plurality of expected parametric values representing a state-of-health (SOH) of the primary electrical system of the vehicle; starting a series of operations to exercise a plurality of operating modes of the vehicle; continuously reading a plurality of voltage values from a battery voltage output of a diagnostic connector of the vehicle, performing analysis on the plurality of voltages values to generate current parametric values of SOH of the primary electrical system; based on comparison between the expected parametric values and the current parametric values, determining whether a condition-based maintenance is required; and, after determining that a condition-based maintenance is required, present a maintenance alert to an operator of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10724652
Abstract: A shut-off valve comprising a valve member received in a fluid passageway and rotatable about a rotation axis between open and closed positions, a casing mounted on the valve body and comprising a chamber, a valve actuating assembly mounted on the valve member for rotating the valve member between the open and closed positions and comprising a stem mounted on the valve member about the rotation axis, a blocking member mounted on the stem and a first biasing member configured to bias the valve actuating assembly in the closed position. The shut-off valve further comprising a biasing assembly comprising a second biasing member and a protrusion member, the protrusion member adapted for mating with the mating element of the blocking member for maintaining the valve member in the open position as pressure increases in the chamber. The valve member configured to close when pressure decreases in the chamber.

  • Patent number: 10260824
Abstract: A cooler bypass valve assembly for an agricultural implement includes a cooler bypass valve configured to receive hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic supply. The cooler bypass valve position is adjustable between a first position that facilitates flow of the hydraulic fluid to a cooler bypass and restricts flow of the hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic fluid cooler, and a second position that blocks flow of the hydraulic fluid to the cooler bypass and facilitates flow of the hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic fluid cooler. The hydraulic fluid cooler is capable of reducing a temperature of the hydraulic fluid, and the cooler bypass directs the hydraulic fluid around the hydraulic fluid cooler. Additionally, the cooler bypass valve assembly includes a control assembly that controls the cooler bypass valve position based on the temperature of the hydraulic fluid.

  • Patent number: 9601007
Abstract: A self-propelled apparatus includes: a self-propelled platform having a recessed chamber located in the bottom side, a control unit mounted in the self-propelled platform for controlling the moving path of the self-propelled platform in a predominantly grid-pattern that causes the self-propelled platform to mainly move in predominantly straight lines, a battery, one or multiple germicidal ultraviolet lights exhibiting an elongated shape and mounted in the self-propelled platform within the recessed chamber in such a manner that the longitudinal axis of the germicidal ultraviolet lights is kept in parallel to the linear moving direction of the self-propelled platform, and obstacle sensors. The self-propelled apparatus utilizes a wireless module for wireless communication with an external smart device that has built therein an application software for controlling and displaying the operating status of the self-propelled apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9102407
Abstract: A resonance engine is disclosed including: a driver plate, to which is coupled at least one oscillatory transducer; a drive signal generator connected to the oscillatory transducer for excitation thereof; a first spring-mass resonator, having a first natural resonant frequency, with a proximal end attached to the driver plate and a free distal end; and a reaction means attached to the driver plate substantially opposite to the first spring-mass resonator. When the oscillatory transducer is excited by a drive signal from the generator having a component at or close to said natural resonant frequency, the first spring-mass resonator oscillates at resonance, substantially in anti-phase to the driver plate. Small vibrational strains in the oscillatory transducer are converted to large strains of controllable kinematic movements.
