  • Publication number: 20120241458
Abstract: A sealing product to be sealed on at least one ring-shaped sealing zone which surrounds the opening of a container, made from a sealing sheet including a support layer of a fibrous material of mainly vegetable fibers and a multi-layer structure including, on one of its faces, an adhesive layer and, on its other face, a sealing layer, whereby the sealing product is stamped to make a relief whose form is such that its base follows, at least discontinuously, a contour close to that of the internal edge of the ring-shaped sealing zone, the structure of the sealing sheet including additionally an intermediate layer made of plastic having a good strength, able to undergo plastic deformation, and of which the average thickness is such as it endows the entire sealing product with sufficient malleability and resistance for it to be possible to stamp it to the desired shape without tearing.

  • Publication number: 20060289110
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a flexible heating sheet comprising two outer layers made of plastic material and a metal foil ribbon, arranged sinuously between the outer layers and acting as an electrical heating conductor using the Joule effect, includes a) printing a first face of a metal foil strip with a sinuous ribbon pattern and a second face with a pattern in an anti-bond lacquer complementary to the sinuous ribbon pattern, b) masking the first face of the metal strip by extrusion with a metal support film using a first extruded layer made of plastic, c) slicing the metal strip masked with the support film from the second face as far as the first extruded layer along the delimitation lines of the sinuous ribbon pattern and the complementary pattern, d) covering the second face of the metal foil strip with a second extruded layer made of plastic, e) covering the second face of the foil strip coated by extrusion using a first layer of glue with a first outer layer with a plastic film, f) separating the sup

  • Publication number: 20060141274
Abstract: The invention relates to a sealing foil with a substrate (2), a primer layer (3) and at least one extruded functional layer (6). Such a sealing foil is improved with a view to suppressing migration in that between the primer layer (3) and the extruded functional layer (6) an extruded barrier layer (4) is provided which prevents at least the migration of components of the primer layer (3) and/or of the functional layer (6).

  • Publication number: 20050048307
Abstract: The invention relates to a film for food packaging, comprising at least one layer (1) made from an aluminium material. According to the invention, such a film may be improved, in particular with relation to the puncture resistance thereof whereby the film comprises at least one extruded layer (2) of a tear-resistant polymer.

  • Publication number: 20020192447
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for setting the process for the manufacture of sealing seams, in which the interface temperature at the interface between the sealing partners is measured using a temperature-measuring element. It was shown that setting the process based on the course of time of the interface temperature during and after heat input during the sealing makes it possible to optimize the machining parameters to achieve the best possible sealing seam quality, shortest possible machining time and lowest possible energy outlay.
