    Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for treating a particulate thermoplastic material.This apparatus comprises a container (1) divided internally by a perforated partition (12) which serves as a passage for a purging gas. A suitable rotor (6) provided with blades (10) and (11) allows the treated charge to be maintained temporarily at a distance from the stationary and rotating internal walls of the apparatus.The invention applies especially to the coloring of particulate plastic materials by coating.
