    Abstract: A machine for the sequential machining of two opposite faces of an ophthalmic lens comprises first and second groups of work stations for machining respective faces of the lens. Transfer means is provided for moving the lens from one group of stations to the other and turn-over means is located in the path between the groups of stations to turn the lens automatically from one face to the other.
