Abstract: The invention is a packaging case made of cardboard for transporting a load, a method and a device for packaging such a case. The case includes a lateral band (2, 3, 4, 5) and a horizontal base (6) integral with the band via joining lines, and a heat shrinkable plastic film material (7, 8, 9) for packaging and holding the load securely. The case also includes at least one rigid mounted plate (11), pressing the heat shrinkable film on the internal face of the base of the case leaving free strips of material arranged for blocking the load by shrinking on the film, the plate being inserted between at least two first vertically opposite walls of the case such that the edges of the plate are in contact via the plastic film with at least part of the joining lines of the first walls. The case further includes structure for blocking the plate against the base.

Abstract: A carton has a bottom, side walls and top. A strap handle is attached to both sidewalls and extends over the top. The handle fits into slots that extend from the side wall into the top. The handles are attached to the side wall below these slots. The ends of the slots have enlarged areas that retain the handle as it extends through the slot. The enlarged areas can be any number of different shapes.

Abstract: Box of sheet material, such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, including square or rectangular lateral faces, in pairs, connected by a folding line. The folding lines are mutually parallel and the lateral faces forming a right-angled parallelepiped (pa). This box includes other lateral faces forming a pyramid (py) adjoined by its base to the parallelepiped. It is obtained from a blank of sheet material including triangular or trapezoidal panels hinged to rectangular or square panels.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, a blank, and a box enabling packaging to be obtained that is fitted to the load to be packaged. According to the invention, a blank made of cut-out panels is wrapped around and is pressed against the load while the load is standing on one of the panels of the blank.

Abstract: Packaging made of sheet-type material, such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, of at least approximately parallelepipedal shape and blank for producing it. The faces (1 to 4) have different heights, with the faces of greater height having a width which is at most equal to the distance separating two consecutive faces of greater height when the packaging is a blank. Abstract: A pack made of sheet material such as card or corrugated card has rectangular side faces that are interconnected in pairs by respective fold lines, said fold lines being mutually parallel and said side faces forming a rectangular parallelepiped. According to the invention this pack is remarkable in that it includes other side faces that form a pyramid whose base coincides with a face of said parallelepiped. The pack is obtained from a blank of sheet material that includes trapezium-shaped or triangular panels hinged to rectangular panels.

Such a case comprises at least five lateral faces. Abstract: A method and machine for forming a case with polygonal section from a blank of sheet material. There is an assembly of panels. The assembly of panels is wound about a mandrel with polygonal section. The tongue is fixed to the free edge of the endmost panel. The flaps situated on the same side of the panels are folded. The flaps thus folded are fixed together.
