  • Publication number: 20060166031
Abstract: The invention concerns a plain or zinc-plated steel plate, additionally coated on at least one of its surfaces with a single zinc or zinc alloy layer containing 0.15 to 1 wt. % of a polymer consisting of 6 to 150 identical or different units of general formula: (CH2C(R)(CONH2))—, with R?H or CH3 and optionally comprising polyallyl units, and a method for making said plates by electroplating in sulphate baths.

  • Patent number: 5211929
Abstract: The invention describes a process for thermal activation of zeolites that are sensitive to hydrothermal degradation by percolating a hot gas through a homogeneous bed of granulates of the said zeolites. It applies to type A an X zeolites, and more particularly to their forms exchanged by potassium or calcium and one preferably uses air, the temperature of which ranges between about 300.degree. C. and 700.degree. C., preferably between 550.degree. C. and 600.degree. C., and preferably with dehydrated and decarbonated air, forced through the bed of granulates at linear velocities ranging between 0.01 and 1 m/second NTP. The process makes it possible to obtain novel zeolites with high nitrogen adsorption capacity.

  • Patent number: 4857584
Abstract: Two-component polyurethanes without inclusion of gas are described, whose hydroxylated component contains a zeolitic dehydrating agent which corresponds to the following formula in its anhydrous form: ##EQU1##

  • Patent number: 4478478
Abstract: A piece of electrical apparatus, such as a junction box, having a body of insulating material has at least one sleeve to receive and position the screw of a connecting terminal and, projecting into the sleeve, at least one resiliently deformable protuberance, to retain the screw and prevent it from dropping out, the protuberance being formed by means of a thinned down zone of the wall of the sleeve. Further retaining means may be provided comprising one or more ribs projecting into the sleeve and extending longitudinally of the sleeve for a part of the length of the sleeve at the inner end of the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4461528
Abstract: An electrical connector has a casing of insulating material, comprising a body and a cover which is integral with the body and pivotally connected thereto by hinge means, and a connecting blade which is projectingly carried by the cover on the inside surface thereof and which cuts through the insulation of electrical conductors laid in cradle-like housings of the body upon closure of the cover onto the body.Engagement means are provided between the body and the cover and comprise at least one guide ramp means formed on a longitudinal wall of the body and a cooperating projecting lug provided on the cover.

  • Patent number: 4397514
Abstract: A self-clamping electrical connector or terminal block is disclosed having one or more entrance passages for inserting a corresponding number of conductive cores of leads. A U-shaped metal guide member is mounted in the housing and a leaf spring part with a corresponding number of leaf springs each having an angled portion extending between the legs of the guide member. The angled portion is adapted to clamp the conductive core against one of the legs upon insertion of the lead. Each leaf spring comprises clipping means including a bowed portion connected to the angled portion and a flat portion. The bowed portion bears on the inner surface of the other leg of the guide member and the flat portion bears against the outer surface of said other leg. A lug may be provided on the leg to prevent the leaf spring part from slipping off the guide member.

  • Patent number: 4287644
Abstract: A coil toop type cable tie of one-piece molded plastic construction having a flexible strap and a fastening head at one end thereof. The fastening has a passageway running parallel to the strap and a hinged pawl extending into the passageway and having at least one tooth adapted to mesh with ratchet teeth on one side of the strap. The hinged pawl is connected to the fastening head by hinge which defines the closed end of a notch separating the hinged pawl from the rest of the fastening head. The notch opens onto a surface of the hinged pawl opposite to the surface on which its tooth or teeth are formed and preferably angles from its closed end to its open end generally toward the strap.
