    Abstract: The invention relates to superficial molding on glass sheets, by injection molding of plastic material.According to the invention, a glass sheet 1 is inserted in a mold comprised of two plates and which define a generally planar junction surface wherewith one part of the mold, which part is delimited by a hermetic seal, is evacuated, which enables the central part of the glass sheet to be held in place, and according to a feature of the invention, the superficial molding is delimited by a molding seal which is capable of accommodating variations in the shape of the glass sheet and which can withstand the pressure associated with the injection molding of the plastic material.
