    Abstract: The disclosed subject matter relates to systems and methods for using a Kalman Filter method-embedded brain-computer interface to predict user motion. The Kalman Filter leverages variable calculation-approximation methods throughout performed iterations to compute the matrix inverse. This alternating computation approach increases accuracy and reduces latency. The disclosed approach creates a tunable accuracy-latency relationship, which can be implemented in various uses and is adaptable to variable, specific user constraints.
