Publication number: 20240402800Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that interpret user activity as user interactions with user interface (UI) elements positioned within a three-dimensional (3D) space such as an extended reality (XR) environment. Some implementations enable user interactions with virtual elements displayed in 3D environments that utilize alternative input modalities, e.g., XR environments that interpret user activity as either direct interactions or indirect interactions with virtual elements.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 29, 2024Publication date: December 5, 2024Inventors: Julian K. Publication number: 20240331447Abstract: Processing gesture input includes obtaining hand tracking data based on a set of camera frames, determining a hand pose based on the hand tracking data, and determining an intentionality classification for a gesture based on the hand pose. An input action corresponding to the gesture is enabled based on the hand pose and the intentionality classification. An occlusion classification is determined for the hand based on the hand pose and the input gesture can be determined based on the occlusion classification.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2023Publication date: October 3, 2024Inventors: Itay Bar Yosef, Bhavin Vinodkumar Nayak, Chao-Ming Yen, Chase B. Publication number: 20230401699Abstract: Vertebrae of the spine in volumetric image are detected using multi-stage detection with trained artificial intelligence. In one embodiment, a trained neural network (116) is employed in a first stage to detect individual vertebra in sagittal images. Two-dimensional bounding boxes around the detected vertebrae are combined to generate a three-dimensional model of the spine. A panoramic image of the spine is generated based on the three-dimensional model to create a straightened view of the spine. The trained neural network is employed in a second stage to detect individual vertebra in the panoramic image. Two-dimensional bounding boxes around the detected vertebrae in the panoramic image are translated to three-dimensional space to create three-dimensional image data with three-dimensional bounding boxes.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2021Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventors: Amir YAAKOBI, Ohad SILBERT, Guy ENGELHARD

Patent number: 9978150Abstract: Spatial segmentation of lymph nodes in a 3-D medical image is automatically determined, based on a set of inputs provided by a user which define a low number of initial conditions for segmentation. In some embodiments, the automation comprises producing a lymph node segmentation from the 3-D image based on a 2-D image slice and a representative line segment on that slice. In some embodiments, segmentation comprises a two tiered approach (2-D segmentation, followed by 3-D segmentation) based on adaptation of the level set framework to the particular conditions of lymph node segmentation.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2016Date of Patent: May 22, 2018Assignee: Algotec Systems Ltd.Inventors: Oranit Dror, Guy Engelhard
