  • Patent number: 11556871
Abstract: A production environment monitoring system notes when problems or issues arise in a computer-based production environment. A noted problem or issue can trigger an escalation policy that calls for notifying an individual identified in the escalation policy to ask the individual to resolve or mitigate the problem or issue. The notification sent to the individual identified in the escalation policy also includes information about one or more individuals that are knowledgeable about the problem or issue that triggered the escalation policy and that may be able to provide assistance in resolving or mitigating the problem or issue.

  • Publication number: 20200134528
Abstract: A production environment monitoring system notes when problems or issues in a production environment have occurred. A noted problem can trigger multiple escalation policies, each of which calls for notifying a different individual to ask the individual to solve the problem. In systems and methods embodying the invention, a escalation policy coordinator selectively activates only one or more of the triggered escalation policies to prevent duplication or effort and to prevent the actions of one notified individual from interfering with the actions of a second individual.

  • Publication number: 20200073891
Abstract: Systems and method embodying the invention classify portions of a data stream that is received from a production environment. Portions of the data stream are compared to a plurality of templates to determine if the portions of the data appear to match a known template. If there is a match, the data is further analyzed in an attempt to classify the data as being of a one of a plurality of different types that correspond to the matched template.

  • Publication number: 20190392252
Abstract: Systems and methods for selecting a forecast model for analyzing time series data operate by identifying a characteristic of a set of time series data, then running tests on the time series data using multiple different forecast models. The forecast model that returns the fewest errors predicting future values of the time series data is selected for use for in analyzing time series data having the identified characteristic. This process is repeated for other sets of time series data having alternate characteristics to identify the forecast models that most accurately predict future values of time series data having those alternate characteristics. Thereafter, it is only necessary to identify the characteristics of a new set of time series data, and then use the forecast model that was selected for time series data having the identified characteristic in order to generate accurate predictions of future values for the new set of time series data.

  • Patent number: 10387899
Abstract: A system correlates items of customer feedback to anomalous events that gave rise to the items of customer feedback and stores the correlation information in one or more databases. The correlation information it then later used to determine the probable causes of items of customer feedback received at a later time.

  • Publication number: 20180115464
Abstract: A system for monitoring and reporting on a production environment obtains data from a production environment via one or more application programming interfaces (APIs) that are resident on one or more computing systems of the production environment. The system uses the obtained data to calculate metrics, and the system then uses the obtained data and the calculated metrics to determine whether a predetermined incident has occurred. If a predetermined incident has occurred, then it may be immediately reported, or a secondary analysis could first be performed to determine if the incident should be reported.

  • Patent number: 9491600
Abstract: Systems and methods for terminating telephony communications to a mobile telephony device that is roaming outside of its native service area make use of a forwarding termination service. The forwarding termination service causes the native mobile telephony service provider that provides service to the mobile telephony device to forward incoming telephony communications directed the native telephone number of the mobile telephony device to a forwarding access number. The forwarding termination service receives telephony communications directed to the forwarding access number, and then terminates the telephony communication to the mobile telephony device via any one of multiple different methods. The mobile telephony service provider can be instructed to implement and cancel call forwarding instructions by dialing a special character string on the mobile telephony device.

  • Patent number: 9491597
Abstract: An Internet protocol (IP) telephony system provides telephony services to a mobile telephony device via data packet communications that traverse a data network. If the IP telephony system has received calls that were missed by the user of the mobile telephony device, or if the IP telephony system has received communications that have not yet been reviewed by the user of the mobile telephony device, information about those missed calls and unreviewed messages is delivered to the mobile telephony device so that the user can be alerted to their existence. The information may be delivered to the mobile telephony device in a push notification.

  • Patent number: 9313238
Abstract: Systems and methods for forwarding data packets to facilitate an IP telephony communication make use of a media relay to accomplish the forwarding actions. The media relay is configured receive setup signaling indicating a first acceptable originating IP address for received data packets. The media relay also allows the acceptable originating IP address to change once after the initial call setup has occurred. Also, if a REINVITE action occurs during a call, the media relay will allow the acceptable originating IP address to change once after the REINVITE signaling has been completed.
