    Abstract: The use of a copolymer consisting in polymerized form ofa) from 70 to 90% by weight of at least one C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -olefin andb) from 10 to 30% by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of .alpha.,.beta.-mono-ethylenically unsaturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 -monocarboxylic acids, .alpha.,.beta.-monoethylenically unsaturated C.sub.4 -C.sub.8 -dicarboxylic acids and anhydrides of these mono- and dicarboxylic acids,as adhesion promotor between a first and a second material, the first material comprising not more than 70% by weight of at least one C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -olefin in polymerized form and the second material comprising not less than 70% by weight of at least one C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -olefin in polymerized form.
