The message stream includes a plurality of unstructured text messages from at least one homogeneous source. A time interval is established. The volume of text messages for the time interval is determined to establish a reference volume. The volume of text messages in subsequent time intervals is measured to establish a trend volume. The trend volume is compared to the reference volume to determine a volumetric change. At least one action is initiated in response to a volumetric change above a pre-determined threshold. At least one action is initiated in response to a volumetric change below a pre-determined threshold.

Abstract: A method for automatic network address configuration of network devices during installation is described. According to the method, a network address is configured on the devices and a check is performed as to whether the address is already in use. If not, a device is configured on the network. The method allows configuration of multiple identical devices with different network addresses.

Abstract: Disclosed is a process for liquefying natural gas wherein an available methane-rich feed, i.e., natural gas, at an excess pressure is initially expanded to provide expansion work which may be utilized in a number of novel ways, such as to provide refrigeration in a refrigerant cycle used to cool the feed or in one or more refrigerant cycles used in a liquefaction zone to liquefy the feed, or to generate electrical power for use in the liquefaction process or for export. In one embodiment, the expansion work is obtained by use of an expander/compressor device (turboexpander) which expands the feed to (1) drive the compressor of the device and thereby provide compression for a closed loop propane refrigeration cycle to pre-cool the natural gas stream, and (2) produce an expanded, chilled natural gas feed for a liquefaction process.

Abstract: A trading card and method for producing a trading card are provided. The trading card includes a picture printed on a substrate. The card is mailed to obtain a postmark printed on the card from the postal service. Preferably, a date and/or location is selected to correspond with an event associated with the picture on the card. The trading card is then mailed to obtain a postmark having a date and/or location corresponding with the selected date and/or location. After the card is mailed it may be trimmed to a smaller size. More specifically, the card may be trimmed to a size having a length and/or height that is smaller than the minimum height and/or length allowed for mailing under postal regulations. The mailed cards are then packaged either individually or with other mailed or unmailed cards.
